Russia just recently exploded the biggest vacuum in history on Tuesday. According to its military the blast was comparable to a nuclear bomb blast but without the fallout. They dubbed it the Father of All Bombs to mock the US's MOAB (Massive Ordnance Air Blast nicknamed the Mother of All Bombs)

A vacuum bomb for those who don't know is an ordinance that uses the oxygen in the air for an oxidizer instead of carrying one in the actual bomb (oxygen in the atmosphere instead of a charge).

Here's the links:

Father of All Bombs

And Wikipedia for Thermobaric Weapons

So in one week Putin dissolves parliament and tests the largest vacuum bomb in history...

Does anybody else smell another October Revolution?

Great, another race. And now they have an excuse not to disarm because although both are claiming to disarm NUCLEARLY, these bombs aren't nukes. *cough*loophole*cough*

Coincidentally, I just read two articles about the nuclear age for school. They were majorly olde, but one had an interesting point that the Cold War policies of nuclear arms control was outdated, thus the United States would need to create a new form for worldwide nuke control before the second coming of the nuclear age.

A first arms race was not needed, though inevitable, I presume a second one is that too.

The US would lose a second one. I bet on it. Russia's economy is stable enough, and the US is bleeding billions every day.

Not that it matters - the US still spends more on 'defence' than every other country on Earth combined. I'm willing to be that the US already has these bombs locked up somewhere on the quiet.
