CDC to America: There Is No Zombie Apocalypse
There are no mermaids, no zombies: US government
There is an old wisdom to never believe anything, until government denies its existence. Well, now the US government has denied the existence of both mermaids and zombies. That is a worrying sign. Why'd US government deny their existence - and so closely in time even? How can mankind defend itself against the twin threat of zombies and mermaids? Escaping by boat is traditionally a good way to protect oneself against zombie horde, but if oceans are full of hostile mermaids, there won't be any safe areas to evacuate to. That leaves means the only safe place from zombie-mermaid-apocalypse is Antarctica - except there's that hole in the ozone layer.
