OFF CAMERA:
Anderson Fighting Systems - Las Vegas, Nevada.

Ally walks onto the main floor of the training facility; lifting her hand she smoothes down her long blonde braids either side of her head, obviously bouncing off a little nervous energy as she moves on the balls of her feet inside her white converse, taking a long slow breath.

She sets the cardboard carrier of coffees and tea on the table to her left; before straightening back up to assess her new surroundings. As she looks around the room, her eyes move over the various equipment set up at the front of the room, before he eyes trail towards the three rings set up towards the back..

She takes a moment to steady herself, running her palms down over her loose fitting grey sweatpants, rolled over at the hips; her toned abdomen bare, only wearing a plain white sports bra on top. She spots Josh standing off to the side of the ring and slowly walks over, greeting him with a smile and a quick wave of her hand….

“Hey!” she widens her smile slightly to show her enthusiasm as she reaches him.

He gives her a glance and a nod before looking back to the ring where two other would be students are training. She hesitates slightly, pulling her bottom lip close to chew on it as she pauses, before turning to talk around the ring looking up at the students who are training inside it.

She takes her time walking around the ring as though feeling the air out before approaching him from the other side with a tilt of her head as she raises an eyebrow.

“Uh, so.. I don’t know how you do things so.. Tell me where you want me I guess?” she shrugs her shoulders quickly, her eyes moving between him and the students in the ring.

“The locker rooms are over there.” He says with a point the the back of the gym. “Let me know when you've changed into what you want to train in and also warmed up with some time on the treadmill.” He goes back to watching the other two students in the ring. He can feel some tension, so he turns to her again. “Just so you know, I don't care if you're a champion anywhere… In here you are the newbie and I'm going to put you through the same steps as I would for any rookie in my gym.”

She laughs slightly and shakes her head “Uh, did I ask for special treatment?” she drops a hand to her hip looking down at herself.. “But I’m good like this, you want me to waste some time on extra warm up… You’re the boss… But don’t condescend me… I’m not a child.” she shakes her head again with a slight scoff.

She turns on her heels to walk away back towards the front, still shaking her head; after she walks a few steps she pauses and looks back at him, then up at the students in the ring with a smirk; “And, I might be the rookie… But I can out-do whatever THAT” she points up at them with a flippant hand “Is supposed to be in my sleep.”

“I'm assuming Tyson told you what happened when he first walked in here with a similar attitude?” He eyes up Ally now, his full attention on her. “I took him in that ring and I almost broke his arm because I don't deal in bullshit. I get you have got talent but… This is my gym and if you train here, you do what I say.” He raises his eyebrows for emphasis as his voice tone surprisingly hasn't changed. “Or you can find another gym.”

Ally smiles with another small shrug “I can follow rules, that’s not an issue…” she tilts her head slightly, raising her eyebrows back at him; “I want to train here, but talking to me like I am some doe-eyed, bubble headed rookie… Not gonna wash.” She turns all the way back to face him now, dropping both hands to her hips.

“YOU may not care that I am a Champion but I worked damn hard to get there… I’m not going to shy away from some hard-assery; if you think that’s going to put me off you might as well try another schtick because I have been run until my hands and feet are bleeding and I didn’t say quit…”

She folds her arms across her chest now “You want me to go run the treadmill for an hour… Fine, I can do that; you’re the trainer.” she turns back towards the equipment now, waving a hand in the air slightly like a salute goodbye as she walks towards the treadmills.

He walks over to the treadmills where Ally has just started running. He looks her over for a moment. “Trust me, I'm not giving you some bullshit schtick. The way I train is that I push my trainees past what any opponent could push them. Most don't make it to that point due to it being so tough sometimes. With that you're going to have people that snap off and go off on me and I don't care for that shit.” He turns up the speed on the control panel of her treadmill. “So, I'm not bullshitting you here, I'm just saying what's expected.” He turns up the speed some more until she is at a near sprint. “Got that?” He then hits the stop button on the control panel and starts to walk away. “You warmed up enough?” He calls back as he keeps walking.

She steps off the treadmill with a slight frown, shaking her head as she catches up to him, leaning her head back just a little looking up at him with a serious look on her face “I got it.” She nods her head once, before quickening her pace to move in front of him, walking backwards as she talks to look him in the eye.

“And for the record, I am not going to snap off… Between bare-knuckle fighting gypsies and being screamed at repeatedly by my ex-husband about being a born failure just to see where it pushed me… I think I am as far from snapping off as anyone can be.” she turns to face the correct way now, falling back into step beside him; “I might joke around sometimes but this… Isn’t a joke to me… Ever.”

“That's good to hear but just so you know, I'm not going to yell at you to see where it pushes you. I know where I want to push you and how to get you there. I get that you're tough from all that, have that nice hardened shell, but I'm going to help that submission game of yours. Sure it's impressive…” He stops walking and looks at her with a serious look in his eyes. “But I'm going to get it to fucking lethal.”

She nods once again, matching his serious tone with hers before she chews on her bottom lip again giving away a mildly anxious air as she flicks her eyes up at the ring and then back at him; “Ever hear the phrase, I know a little about a lot but I am a master of nothing?” she sighs slightly with a small smile; “That’s kind of where I feel like I am at.” she stops now and turns to look at him dead on “I’m good at what I know… But it takes me a little while to pick up the new stuff because I skipped a step.” she puts her hands to her hips; “The basics… Teach me those first, because nobody ever has.”

She tilts her head towards the ring, raising her eyebrows slightly… “I mean, if that’s ok with you… Sir?”He offers up a smirk to her. “Then I'll get some of my other trainers in there with you to run around a bit. Once you get more comfortable here, I'll hop in there with you or Tyson. I can even talk to Zooey if you are up to learning some more advanced strikes.” He nods to the ring. “Have at it.”

She smirks slightly and nods her head in agreement; “Yeah...Sounds great; one last question.” she reaches the ring, running her hands over the apron with a small smile, taking in a deep breath as though breathing in the atmosphere, before leaning back against the ring, loosely folding her arms over in front of her;

“How early is too early?” she smiles slightly, turning her hands over in front of her in an almost nervous way as she looks past Josh slightly to survey the room again; “I kinda got used to being at the gym for 5 and not leaving til the sun went down… Feels alien to me to have so much free time… I’d like to get back into that routine… Something familiar.”

He chuckles a little. “Well the morning trainers come in around like 4ish… Tyson has keys and when he's in town is in at almost any hour of the night since he stays upstairs. You show yourself to be trustworthy and all that… Maybe I'll get you a key.” He rubs at his chin. “Otherwise I'm here unless Zooey wants to do something besides kick my head off.”

Ally laughs slightly but nods her head, “Okay, cool.. And thanks, I know I can be a bit of a brat but, I really appreciate the opportunity.”
