Arguably the heart of New York City. With all of its big attractions--- from the well-known headquarters of the worlds' once heroes, to Central Park, to the Empire State building--- when people think of New York, they're often thinking of Manhattan.

The most populated borough of New York, as well as the home of the Brooklyn Bridge.

The northernmost borough of New York, divided by the Bronx River, and home of the Bronx Zoo and the New York Botanical Garden.

The southernmost and least populated borough, but famous for its Staten Island Ferry, which tours passed the Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island, and Lower Manhattan.

The easternmost borough and the second-most populous county in the state. It is one of the busiest and most diversified areas in the city.

Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters is known to be a safe-haven by the governments and mutants, as well as a place to harness and learn to control their abilities. It is home to many mutants, though now under the decree of the S.H.R.A.. must register any child of age that reside within its walls.

Seattle is a main hub of trade in the West of the United States, and a symbol of artistic prosperity in the country's modern culture.

Most that reside here are still talking about the Chicago attack. Whispers of the United Kingdom's own version of the S.H.R.A. line the streets.

Wary of past mistakes, the government has currently been pushing to pass a law very much like the S.H.R.A.. People here often speak out against the "wrongful" use of superhuman power.

Superhuman rights have already been extremely restricted here, (except for the government's own use,) and are now only further warded against.

One of the largest countries in the world. The use of superhuman abilities at all, in public or otherwise, is outlawed here entirely. Illegal activities of a superpowered nature is swiftly (and some argue cruelly) punished.

One of the few countries left that have a majority on the support of superhuman rights, Japan also believes each superhuman individual should be treated with a higher level of respect to a superstitious extreme.

A frozen wasteland. There aren't many creatures or beings that can inhabit and survive the subzero temperatures and endless winters that dominate the area. But even here, life persists.

Another neutral party in a changing world, Australia neither advocates nor criticizes superhuman-based debates.
