Still grieving the death of nine-year-old Alice - their only child - at the jaws of a crazed dog, vet Patrick and pharmacist Louise relocate to the remote town of Wake Wood where they learn of a pagan ritual that will allow them three more days with Alice. The couple find the idea disturbing and exciting in equal measure, but once they agree terms with Arthur, the village's leader, a far bigger question looms - what will they do when it's time for Alice to go back. oh man watched this movie yesterday and i must say it was intense, very good thriller from start to finish. the whole idea of spending 3 days with a deceased loved one is cool, but there's a catch, they can't be buried for longer than a year, which turns out to be the case for this couple. woaH> @_@ The plot sounds pretty potent, tbh. I'll have to be giving this a watch. Or two. Or three. Probably more than that since I love stories like this. |

It was Irish. I just couldn't enjoy it from the moment I discovered that. (I'm, like, somepart Irish so it isn't racism) |

So the entire problem with the movie is that it's Irish? I guess I'll still be checking it out then =U |

IDk, I hate British, Irish, Scottish and Welsh movies for some reason. |

Seems interesting. Sounds more like a good idea for a novel than a movie though. I'll check it out. |
