The Constitution was created with the ability to change it. The drafters of this document wanted it to be able to change with the times, so that it might stay relevant hundreds and thousands of years from then. We've amended the Bill of Rights over a dozen times already, so there's a precedent for it already. |

Our founding fathers knew they could not anticipate all the changes that would come in the years following the Revolution. The beauty of the Constitution is that it can in fact be changed, but that it is not EASY to change. That is one of the smartest things the founders of the USA did, IMHO. |
