IRAN:
Should the US use military force if Iran does not dismantle its nuclear program?

IRAQ:
Has the war in Iraq made US safer?

What do you think about the 9/11 attacks on the WTC, NY, Pentagon and PA?

Was "pulling-out" a good idea?

ISRAEL:
Should the US get involved with the Isreali-Palestinian conflict?

Should the US make an independent Palestinian statehood?

AFGHANISTAN:
Do you believe that Osama Bin Laden is dead?

What IS Israel anyways? Seriously, what was the point in creating it? A lot of Palestinians have lost their lives trying to achieve autonomy in what was once their land. *Totally has Palestinian friends.*

Honestly. It's just pissing people off.

And nothing against 9/11 or anything, but that was just one day. That shit goes on in Palestine and Lebanon all the time. 24/7.

And isn't the Taliban dismantled or something? I mean, Saddam Hussein is dead. Why should it matter that Iran, among a ton of other untrustworthy nations, has nuclear bombs? The United States will always have 50,000 times any country's number of bombs. Only slightly hypocritical. Correct me if I'm wrong, I just stopped caring about the Middle East after hearing about the same shit every week.

And finally, Osama has died like, 12 times in the past 10 years. For all we know, we killed his seventh clone, or 4th zombie incarnation. Shit's getting serious.

This debate confuses me to no end for some reason. I agree with most of the points FS made though, especially the Osama one.

IMHO, the USA should use military force agaisnt Iran if it reaches the level of being able to produce weapons-grade uranium or plutonium. The thing that kept the Cold War from getting "hot" was that the USA and USSR were both ruled by people capable of logically thinking out the consequences of what a nuclear war would entail. The rulers of Iran do not seem capable of that, and that is whay they must be dealt with IF it gets to that stage.

Yes, I believe Osama Bin Laden is dead. The man's ego would not permit him to remain silent this long if the USA had lied about his death.

On the question of Palestine and Israel, this "squabble" has been going on for centuries, and will continue to do so. There is no solution when the two sides want the other to cease to exist. Without middle room, no solution will ever be found.

Are we safer with Iraq the way it is? Damn good question. I think in terms of long-term, we are probably safer. In the short-term, no. There may always be someone out for revenge agaisnt American forces. the "War on Terror" started after 9/11 was supposed to be about the elimination of the Taliban and Al-Quieda. Niether goal has been reached, and if anything the Taliban is stronger in some areas of Afghanistan than it was before 9/11. Afghanistan has no history of democracy, so the people there don't have any way of knowing what democracy is supposed to look like. America will be "safer" when it is no longer dependent on middle Eastern oil imports. Then the biggest reason for the USA to intervene in that region will be no more.

Exactly.

I'm glad that our country is taking its first steps towards a Green Nation.

We can pull our dick out of these other foreign countries, who obviously do not want our assistance, and we can focus on our own dwindling nation.
