Senate Bill 204 stated in part: "A person who has served the entirety of a sentence imposed for a felony conviction, including a term of probation or parole shall, upon his request to the corrections department, be issued a certificate of completion by the corrections department. Presentation of the certificate of completion to a county clerk shall entitle the person to register to vote." |

Voted #4. I don't really care, though. This doesn't affect any aspect of my life. So long as the votes don't stack up to elect a Nazi leader. |

Voted number four as well. In some cases though, they should definitely not be allowed to vote. Not that one single vote counts for anything, but I certainly would not want Charles Manson or a man who has raped and killed fifty women and children to have a say in who is elected. One time offenses of major crimes? Multiple offenses of small, forgivable crimes? Someone who did terrible things YEARS ago and feels guilty and has already served their time in prison or whatever? Yes. Let them vote. |

I always think this is funny. The big groups of votes=All made up of "one single vote that counts for nothing" Voted 4 |

Chose number 4, though I think it would depend upon the type of felony. Murder, I'd say no. Grand Theft Auto, yes, i could see someone being allowed to vote. Lot of grey area in this for me between #4 and #2. |

I went with #4 because felon feels like a vague term to me, since we could be talking about non-violent offenders too. |
