I didn't see a thread on this, so I decided to make one. What are everyone's thoughts on this movie?

I'm not a Nolan fanboy, but I have loved all three of Nolan's Batman movies. The Dark Knight was and is one of my favorite movies of all time and I didn't think the third one would be anywhere as good.

While I won't compare it to any of them, but I enjoyed this movie so much and the almost three hour runtime went by fast. Yes it was kind of crowded and Bane's voice was silly sounding at first, but I loved it.

What are everyone's thoughts?

I loved everything of this in all honesty. It was near perfect and one of my favorite movies outside the horror genre. I actually found this better than The Dark Knight. 10/10

Im pretty excited for this. Batman Begins dragged a bit, and I really enjoyed The Dark Knight. Hopefully this will become a fave (action) film of mine.

I went into this a bit wary at how Anne Hathaway could portray Catwoman, especially after Michelle Pfeiffer pretty much nailed it... And I was pleasantly surprised. This Catwoman wasn't crazy. She was... stylish. Classy. Very nice character touch on Hathaway's part, and overall, I thought they did a really good job. Although I do think they tried to cater to too many fan suggestions by including so many major characters. 8/10

You do know Pfeiffer's Catwoman was just a product of Tim Burton's imagination. Anne Hathaway is actually closer to the comic book.

She wasn't a complete fabrication from Burton... yes, she was a bit crazier than most Catwomen, but after several backstory changes and origin stories, I don't believe Anne Hathaway's character was any closer than Michelle Pfeiffer's. I'm still waiting on the abused prostitute Cat to go out on the prowl.

I got the impression that Anne's was a prostitute.

Unfortunately this is no longer true. In the "relaunch" of DC, Ann Nocenti got to take a crack at her origins and basically retold the Batman Returns story and made it the new cannon much to fans chargin. I thought Ann Hathaway did a fantastic job as Catwoman, I never expected much from her.
