Alright thanks. If I can only see two, I think I'll make it Original and Beginning. Is beginning directly related to the Jessica Biel one? Will I still enjoy and understand beginning without the 2003 remake? I'd assume so as it's a prequel but I'll probably miss out on a reference or two.

Make these your priorities: Original first. Then remake. Then The Beginning. The Beginning = Direct prequel to the REMAKE, not the original. Entirely new cast. |

Ok, I'll throw remake in. I didn't know it was that closely related to beginning. Assuming I enjoy them all, I'll get around to the others eventually. |

Oh goodness. The amount of money these films have made. What the fuck? TCM '74: $30,859,000 TCM 2: $8,025,872 TCM III: $5,765,562 TCM: TNG: $185,898 TCM '03: $107,071,655 TCM: TB : $51,764,406 Okay, yeah. I am VERY worried for TC3D. TCM: The Beginning had a $16,000,000 budget and....made over three times it's budget and we've still waited 6 years, 3 months for TC3D. TC3D better make AT LEAST $70,000,000 or it'll probably leave the series dead until like 2018. |

Beginning was ONLY made because Platinum Dines felt forced to do a sequel. They pretty much admitted to having no interest in continuing the series but caved to fans. Now look at F13 and ANOES. I feel confident that TC3D is more likely to get a sequel JUST because PD isn't involved |

Ehh, I sure hope you're right. X_X I'm pretty sure PART of why we've waited 6+ years = The fact that TCM: TB didn't even make half the money it's predecessor did. If TC3D straight up bombs (under $8 million in theaters), which it won't, then the series is dead. If TC3D underperforms bigtime ($15 million-$40 million) we'll have to wait and see. If it's a huge success, the future will be bright, ha. |

I think it may do well. The "Texas Chainsaw 3d" is a marketing strategy to make the general public think it's a new remake or something, I'd assume. |

No it isn't. Remember, there's the whole "It happened in 1974, now...it's happenng again" thing in the TV spot(s). |
