"When a group of misfits is hired by an unknown third party to burglarize a desolate house and acquire a rare VHS tape, they discover more found footage than they bargained for."

Okay.. this film was creepy. Each tape had a totally and completely different story than the last. Some stories were cheap, some were creepy, and some had me hiding my eyes because of how intense they seemed.
At first, the film seemed like a shaky camera movie that would end up making me sick. But once it actually started going, I discovered that it was actually a very intriguing and creepy concept. They used a couple different filming techniques (eyeglasses camera, webcam, video camera, etc) which was refreshing.
These tapes go from demons, to homicide, to ghosts, to possessions, etc. It seems like there is something for everyone. I really enjoyed this film. Has anyone else heard of or seen this movie?

Ive heard about i but I havent seen it. Till I saw your post, I didnt think it'd be anything special or memorable, but now I'm actually looking forward to seeing it. And I love that poster, kind of reminds me of a cross between The Punisher's and Visiting Hours'.

Little things excite me in films. It depends on your standards. Some tapes were stupidly cheesy, but never failed to entertain. :3

Cheesy is totally fine with me as long as it's not a case of a movie having a big budget but giving off a forced 'wannabe throwback' feeling. And I have pretty low standards when it comes to movies, I guess. Alot of my faves are widely hated lol. I'll definitely be seeing this as soon as I can.

xD Just making sure. I feel all infantile here half the time because I'm so young and everyone has more experience in reviewing horror than I do. :3

Well you seem to have seen quite a bit, haha. I know people in their 20s who claim to be diehard horror fans but have seen less than 100 their whole lives. :P

/threadjack.

How long is this movie? One thing I read (dont worry, I haven't looked up spoilers) said it's two hours long. #_# If so then Im happy since most found footage movies are only about 1 hour 20 minutes.

I think it was around 2 hours. But it really kept my interest because the story changes every 20 minutes or so.
