"When a group of misfits is hired by an unknown third party to burglarize a desolate house and acquire a rare VHS tape, they discover more found footage than they bargained for."

Okay.. this film was creepy. Each tape had a totally and completely different story than the last. Some stories were cheap, some were creepy, and some had me hiding my eyes because of how intense they seemed.
At first, the film seemed like a shaky camera movie that would end up making me sick. But once it actually started going, I discovered that it was actually a very intriguing and creepy concept. They used a couple different filming techniques (eyeglasses camera, webcam, video camera, etc) which was refreshing.
These tapes go from demons, to homicide, to ghosts, to possessions, etc. It seems like there is something for everyone. I really enjoyed this film. Has anyone else heard of or seen this movie?

I did a quick search and I didn't see any topic that had been made for this movie, but let me know if I'm wrong as I'm sure it could be spelled differently.

"When a group of misfits is hired by an unknown third party to burglarize a desolate house and acquire a rare VHS tape, they discover more found footage than they bargained for."

Anyway, I just got done watching this and I was surprisingly impressed. I'm not a huge fan of found-footage but felt that an anthology setup would fit this style perfectly...and I think I was right. The major benefit is that every story is unique with it's own set of "rules" and threats. Almost every tape is at least interesting with only one "bad" film while the overarching story leaves a lot to be desired. The visual inconsistencies (screen-tearing and lag) on a few tapes got annoying but I never really got too upset over it unless it got in the way of the plot development or was necessary to tell the story. The acting was pretty terrible in a few tapes and we never really stick with any group too long and as such it's hard to get attached and involved in their stories. I know that's probably a lot of negatives but it's harder for me to talk about things I enjoy like the overall premise and the different twists they take on a few horror (and creepypasta) staples. Most of the ideas are creative and interesting, but it does come off a little long (and I know exactly which film should have been cut). I really should keep my eyes open for more horror anthologies as this one was right up my alley. Short, sweet, and very entertaining when done correctly. 7.5/10

Just as a note for some people here. There is a lot of nudity and even more gore. I would just like to put that out there so everyone knows what they are getting into as it was a tad excessive at times.
