Posted Image So I got this as a 'get well' gift from my mother several days ago and....wow. Flipping through the pages alone impressed me and made me wish I'd had a hand in making this<3. SOOOO many beautiful photographs, rare stills, artwork, foreign advertising material and so on for HUNDREDS (oer 400-500, Im guessing) of slasher films that have been released from the creation of the slasher film until the present. Almost every slasher you could ever think of off the top of your head = included in the pages of this book in some way. My only complaint though...some movies ARE given a super limited page-space. For example, RZH1 and RZH2 (which the main author hated for the most part) got less than one paragraph each, as did Sorority Row (2009). But I suppose I can live with that. After all, this 200+ page monster is mainly dedicated to films of the 1970s-mid-1990s. Thats okay since those are the ones many of today's fans weren't ALIVE to see in theaters. We already know the behind-the-scenes stuff, the pre-release material, the anticipation of the release, and so on. Hopefully in ten or fifteen years, J.A Kerswell and his 'team' will release a book entirely dedicated to slashers of the late 1990s-mid 2020s or something. <3. THis is definitely worth picking up imo. (zombiethumbsup) |

It goes by TWO titles: The Slasher Movie Book Teenage Wasteland: The Slasher Movie Uncut They have the same cover, same contents, and so on. So if you see either, get it<3. BUT don't buy it twice just so you have the other title too lol. |

Then go for it. ;) I was just warning you cuz I have a feeling some people HAVE bought BOTH books, thinking that just cuz the title was changed, that there were differences. D: |

God I swear if a cute boy brought me this I'd take him to the nearest court house and marry him. This book is the perfect gift for a slasherholic. |

Omg ikr<3. I fucking LOVE how the cover isn't something we've all seen before. Part of it = Bodycount (1987) aka Camping Del Terrore, which is a great but somewhat unseen slasher<3. |

Its sooo good. Look for it on Amazon or at Barnes And Noble, its bound to be there (for cheaper than I got it, for sure). :P When I start reading it Ima limit myself to only 30 pages per day. I want to savor it, not rush through it. |
