Yeah, its a game changer, but that doesnt mean its not craptacular. Texas Chainsaw 3D was just okay. But If they continued with this storyline it would just get stupid, and probably puss-ify his character even more. TCM is not a soap opera, Leatherface 'killing hot 20 somethings' is what these are about. Im not saying it shouldnt have a story, I just dont feel this is it, or right for the series. |

I respect your opinion just like I don't believe another boring by the numbers reboot is what this series needs. Eventually a series has to step out and try SOMETHING new. The whole way of thinking "Don't make it more than what it is" can be a good thing and a bad thing. In this case its a bad thing cause sadly I'm pretty damn tired of paying to see the same movie over and over again. Yes 20 somethings and teens getting killed is what makes the series but it doesn't have to be what every film in the series is about lol. No a sequel to this needs to happen. You can wait for the next reboot if you like but I'm getting on the next train. |

I'm hopeful that Alexandra can be in the sequel, but she has already moved on to another gig. Filming starts in February on "True Detective", an 8-part series on HBO in which Woody Harrelson and Matthew McConaughey play detectives tracking a psychopathic slasher killer in the Louisiana bayous across 17 years. Alexandra plays a "beautiful court reporter who becomes entwined in a relationship with Woody Harrelson's character that takes a dark turn". Hmmm. |

I wouldn't be worried. Even if a sequel were itll be a while before filming started anyway. |

Yahoo Voices, January 16 --- "Talks of a sequel have been momentarily shelved as executives wait to see how "Texas Chainsaw 3D" performs after being released on DVD--- ". Well, that sinks it. There's no way they could crank up a sequel in time for January 2014 if they are waiting to see how TC3D does on DVD. Even if it does satisfactorily, I cannot imagine a sequel before late 2014. An opportunity missed, IMHO. |

Posted Image That sucks on so many levels. X_X I'm praying that by some miracle it ends up doing well overseas. I'm buying the DVD/Blu ray the day of release. Hopefully we'll get lucky and get a sequel in October, 2014 or Spring, 2015 or something. I honestly doubt it though, at this point. |

If, and I still believe it will, but if this gets a sequel, would you like to see it wrap up the Heather storyline and then have any additional sequels (most likely straight to Netflix) feature perhaps stories that took place after the first film but before the second film? Might be a way to "correct" the timeline. |
