Well, TC3D was on at the $2 show in North County St. Louis this week, but it is gone now. We await the DVD.

The carnival scene was such a missed opportunity.
Agreed. With the bad movies cliches it had, I was disappointed.

Kevin's (Menstrual Monster) carnival idea would have been so much enjoyable and entertaining instead of the stupid and bloodless chase we got.

On top of that, the film sets up and then squanders a massive potential setpiece of carnage. We get Leatherface chasing Heather into a crowded carnival, wielding and revving his chainsaw and even threatening a guy with it. We know that he's a psychopath who loves killing and bloodshed, so a scene like this could've been like the initial attack in Piranha 3D, a crazed display of gratuitous, almost cartoonish violence. A funhouse, filled with mirrors, Leatherface seemingly in every direction. (Imagine what could've been done with the 3D in that scene!) A head getting lopped off and then flung into a game booth, knocking down the pins or buckets. And yet, he doesn't kill anyone at the carnival. It was as though the writers thought of something that sounded cool, and didn't know how to follow through on it.

This is the real, OFFICIAL forum we moved to. No trolls, no drama, plenty of horror discussions.

Have there been any updates when it comes to the DVD/Blu Ray release?

Will we be getting a 3D release? I'm hoping for a three disc edition containing the 3D Blu Ray, 2D Blu Ray, and regular DVD (like Prometheus and Final Destination 5 got).

What about the standard DVD? Will it have the same cover art, and will it include the features listed for the Blu Ray?

God. Reading that just makes me hate this movie even more. That could've been a great scene.

I still don't hate the movie. :P I bet it's actually going to be pretty rewatchable once I pick it up on blu-ray.
