I tended to get along with all of my teachers in school and at University My bad teacher experiences tend to come from the fact that sometimes language proved a barrier. In my first quarter (yes, we broke it down in quarters, not semesters) at University, i had Financial Statistics with a French Canadian instructor, and I just felt lost. She was extremely difficult to understand, and she never kept any office hours of consequence. I ended up making my first ever B (had been straight A's through high school), and I decided then and there that finance was not a good minor. Switched to marketing (besids a major in Mass Communications), and the rest is history. |

i had this biology teacher in junior who was really tough, she would barely go over a chapter and we would have a test over it the next class period, 90% of her students either had a D or an F, i was lucky i think i had a C in her class, she had a nervous breakdown halfway through the year because the students were so mean to her during class, they threw spit balls at her and called her names. i felt bad for her then |

It is a teachers job to ask the students if they are understanding the lesson because of the grades, mainly since she could realize she didn't do that great of a job either. Tormenting her though? That's low and harsh. |

I remember having a bad substitute teacher in the 1st grade. My pendmenship wasn't excellent, but what do you expect from a 6 year old? Anyway, she bitched at me in front of the class for my "f's" not looking right and made me constantly re-write them on the board, like it was some kind of punishment. She was awful....so glad she's gone. |

I hate my history teacher. He doesn't teach for shit. He doesn't explain the chapter very well and what we don't cover he tells us to read it for homework and then he just goes the next part of the chapter without reviewing it. I don't understand how he's a teacher if almost all his students have a D or an F. I have an F in his class and I took a test on Monday so hopefully it raises my grade up a little before the progress reports come in |

In 9th grade, I had a math teacher who just acted like a child and was loud. Everyone loved her but she has a big mouth. She has her favorites. I failed one of her math tests and she says out loud saying "I hope you revise this blah blah" and when she was talking, she put her hand on me and I felt uncomfortable so I tried moving her hand away. She thought it was funny to put her hands all over my shoulder since I was uncomfortable. Bitch has no respect. I was doomed to fail her class because I hate math and I never paid attention because she's a bitch. So again, out loud she calls me out from the hallway and telling me to talk to her about a way to pass the class or else I will get a F. I still failed btw but it was high school so who cares. The only nice thing she did for me was yell at a kid for bullying me. |

Basically every teacher I had in elementary school. Especially when I attended French-language schools from K to Grade 4... Ugh. Though most of my high school teachers were great and I can't really speak ill of any of them, cause even the tough ones had a soft side (letting us watch Rome on days we didn't have any work, even though she's the teacher with the worst reputation; telling us what's going to be on the exam when she's not allowed to, etc etc). |

I had some pretty harsh experiences with teachers. I had a teacher in third grade who, if we had a messy desk, would yank us across the room by the back of our chair (if we didn't hold on, we'd fall off, but it'd be "our fault") and flip our desk over violently, forcing us to pick up what HE threw around. He also cussed a couple of times at us, but at least he apologized for that. Teacher who yelled at me for crying after another kid hit the back of my head with the leg of a chair. He was punished. A WEEK later. This was first grade. Theater teacher who I had Junior Year and the first half of Senior year. Her husband stole money from the school and wasn't supposed to be on the property but she snuck him in and had HIM teach the class at times. I told on her after she refused to even let me AUDITION for plays (instead giving the roles of 20+ year old characters to middle schoolers) and she tried to have me removed from the class. She made an example of me quite a few times pretty much turning me into Cinderella and making me do tons of random janitorial things in the auditorium, often with others watching. We ended up having an extremely explosive argument because the $100+ costume I bought with my own money wasn't good enough. She said, "You may wear those tattered things in your everyday life but do not expect to wear it on MY stage." Note: The role that I got the costume for, was a 54 second role of a homeless person in Annie. My mother and Mrs. Jones (the bitch) had a pretty severe argument for over an hour on the phone after I called Mrs. Jones a 'fucking cunt' or something like that. Those are only a few problems with her. I had another teacher, this one in Florida, that was a theater teacher who believed that if you cannot SING, then you have no business ACTING. She and her posse of $100,000+ per year lapdogs would constantly bash film, some of them making fun of my love for cinema, claiming that "people who work on films have no talent, they're useless, they have no REAL ambition, it's EASIER to make films than it is to act on stage!" and shit. Eventually, she flat out ignored all of my questions in class, never even referring to me by my name, and had no problem with the fact that everyone else in the class began ignoring me as well. They ended up breaking up a relationship of mine with another boy on the theater dept. and she encouraged that as well. She and the other students ended up driving me from the class before my third month there. I had a 200+ person Facebook hate group made about me, containing foul and threatening things. The principal claimed it was my doing and that if anyone should be punished, it was me. I got ten days of suspension for arguing with several of the people in the group (who despite discussing ways for ME to DIE, remained unpunished). They got nothing. The staff accused me of 'flaunting my business' and suggested that, for lack of better words, that I should pretty much 'forget' that I came out of the closet and act 'normally' around the other students. My mother and I tried to fight against it, and lost. |
