Name: Tracy Drew Nick Name: Trace Age: 48 (I'll change it if I have to fit with the children's ages) Sex: Female Sexual Orientation: Straight Nationality and Race: Born and raised in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Currently lives in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Caucasian. Picture: Posted Image (Vera Farmiga) Appearance: Tracy is very professional when it comes to her job as a teacher, and this carries over into her appearance as well. Whenever she is working she will always be seen wearing a well-ironed set of clothes, while also looking professional physically. While she has long hair, she always makes sure to not let it grow too long, and she regularly goes to the hairdresser to have it shortened every couple of weeks or so. Tracy has never really been fond of having extremely long hair, due to the fact that she finds it makes her look "too girly". Her husband however thinks looks great with long hair, so she lets it grow to a certain length as a compromise. When she isn't working, Tracy also makes sure to dress respectfully and she wouldn't be caught dead in something that could be considered revealing, as that just wouldn't suit the person that Tracy is at all. On one of those rare relaxing days at home, where she isn't occupied with her work, her husband or her children, she tends to favor wearing sundresses while she does her best to relax. Occupation (What they do for a living. If they are a student, do they do anything outside of school?): Tracy currently works as high school teacher. She teaches both English and History. She likes teaching both, but she does prefer English as she finds the subject matter to be more interesting. Tracy has been working as a school teacher for a long time now, and it is something that she has always wanted to do since she was a little girl. This was due to the fact that her mother was a school teacher as well, and she would involve Tracy in her lesson plans and let her come up with ideas for classes. This in turn led to Tracy taking an interest in the line of work. She also wanted to become involved in the profession due to the fact that she aspires to be just like her mother, who she admires greatly. Tracy works at the same school that her teenage child attends, much to the annoyance of her child. Tracy does her best to not be too 'motherly' towards her child at school, but sometimes she just can't help it. This has led to her child being teased around the school for having their mother be a teacher. Personality (Who they are and how they act): At first glance Tracy may seem like a stubborn, insensitive individual, but hidden behind her tough exterior lies a kind, caring woman who feels a deep need to protect those she cares for. She has some trust issues due to a failed marriage that she is still feeling the effects of. Tracy has a short temper, especially when it comes to some of her students being disrespectful or neglecting their studies. While Tracy can sometimes across as something of a hard-ass, she is a good person at heart, but can sometimes come off as being a bit cold. Tracy isn't really a cold person, it's just a personality trait that has been brought on by her failed marriage to her ex-husband, who she feels betrayed her and abandoned both her and their now adult child. Tracy can never turn her back on someone in need, and will support them through their struggles. If she deeply cares about someone, then she will put them before herself, which sometimes causes problems for her own life. She likes to plan ahead, but can improvise with the best of them, a trait she owes to the fact that she's a mother. Tracy is thick skinned, not retaliating to criticism or insults unless they are directed at someone she cares for, in which case she will defend that person until the bitter end. Tracy doesn't care much for what other people think of her, brushing off any insults they throw her way. This reflects into how Tracy interacts with other people. If a student, or anybody else for that matter, insults Tracy in anyway she will quickly brush it off and carry on with whatever it was that she was doing. She has been known to lose her temper before though, which has led to Tracy gaining the reputation of being something of an 'Ice Queen' around the school. Tracy enjoys her job most of the time but sometimes found it frustrating. She is seen as being something of a 'mother figure' by some her students. She shares a close bond with some of her students, whom she cares for as is they were her own children. She will sometimes come down hard on them when they slack off, but she does it with their own well-being at heart. This reflects into how she interacts with other people. History: Tracy grew up in a middle-class household back in the sixties. She lived with her parents and her younger sister. Her mother Catherine was a teacher and her father Joshua was a plumber. Tracy and her sister were close as children, but they gradually grew apart as they both grew up. This ultimately led to a divide forming between the sisters, and they currently haven't spoken for years. When she was a child, her mother let Tracy be involved in her lesson plans, starting Tracy's life of teaching. She had a simple childhood, loving parents who spoiled her when they could, but also not the easiest upbringing. One fateful afternoon, back when Tracy was 12, Joshua picked her up from school. On the way home Tracy's father lost control of the car and swerved off of high ground and the car plunged into deep waters. Tracy and her father were submerged underwater for several minutes until a couple of passer-bys manage to pry Tracy free. It was too late for her father though. After Joshua's death, Catherine raised her two girls on her own, instilling that female independence into Tracy that she now possess today. When she was 15, Tracy met (first husband), whom she later started dating. She took up a career in teaching, with the support of her mother and (first husband), leading to her job at the local high school as an English/History teacher. Tracy married (first husband) when she was 20, and soon after that they had a child together. Tracy and (first husband) spent all of their time together and they always felt the constant need to express their love for each other, carrying on in the same way that every newly married couple does. Eventually though, cracks started to show in Tracy and (first husband)'s marriage. (first husband) started to slowly turn into a different person, a version of him that Tracy had never seen before and one that she never knew had even existed. They eventually had marital difficulties and (first husband) became something of a deadbeat in her eyes. He was fired from his job and spent the money that Tracy earned on alcohol. After much fighting, (first husband) left Tracy and their child, and ended up moving in with Tracy's younger sister, whom he started dating not long after walking out on Tracy. They eventually got married and had children together. This shocked Tracy, and she fell into a state of depression over the betrayal, while forced to raise their child alone. Tracy regards this as being the darkest period of her life, but she eventually managed to move on. She still holds a grudge against her sister and ex-husband however, and hasn't spoken to them in a long time. A big reason Tracy was able to move on with her life was because she met (second husband). The two fell madly in love with each other, and with her daughter's blessing, Tracy married him. (second husband) treats Tracy right, and they currently live happily together with their family, which is made up of themselves, (teenage child) and (child). Tracy's own daughter gets along with (second husband), but has grown up and moved out to start her own family. The recent arrival of her adult daughter's baby has Tracy overjoyed, as she loves being a grandma. Tracy is happy with her life at the moment, as she loves (second husband) and her three children, but she has noticed that she is slowly being disconnected from them all due to them growing older. Remembering a cabin that her uncle owned, one that she visited with her sister when she was a child, Tracy came up with the idea to spend Christmas there, together as a family. Tracy is looking forward to the trip, as she believes it will help the family bond together even closer. Hobbies: Tracy loves to spend time with her children. Whether it's going baby shopping with her adult child, going to the movies with her teenage child, or kicking a ball around with her younger child, Tracy loves it all. She is at her most happiest when her children are happy, so she makes sure to do whatever she can for them. Tracy also loves spending time with (second husband). They make sure to try and put a few nights aside a month just for them to spend together. No matter if it's just a quiet date in a nice, upscale restaurant or a night out on the time, the couple always enjoy themselves. Tracy used to play Netball back in high school and still has a fondness for the sport. Tracy is a smoker, something she wants to change but a trait that has stayed with her since high school. Tracy is an avid film buff but dislikes most movies Hollywood produces today. She much prefers the work of directors such as David Fincher and David Lynch. She hates chick flicks with a passion. Tracy possess a knack for sewing, a trait she inherited from her mother. Tracy enjoys her work as a teacher, and puts as much effort into doing it as she can. Likes: Tracy loves (second husband) and her children more than anything in the world, and she will do anything for them, no matter the cost. Obscure films from all around the world that make her think and force her to experience new cinematic emotions. While she doesn't play it anymore, Tracy still likes to watch the occasional game of Netball when she can. Cigarettes, Tracy has been a smoker since she was a teenager. Tracy is a big fan of Classic Rock and Heavy Metal from her younger years, with bands such as Iron Maiden, Metallica and AC/DC ranking among her favorites. Tracy loves Christmas because it gives her an opportunity to spoil her children. Tracy likes some of her students and co-workers at the school she works at. Tracy loves dogs, and she owns a Labrador. She loves it so much that (second husband) has claimed that it is her 'fourth child'. On quiet nights, Tracy loves to bring out her sewing machine and silently sew some new clothes for the children or decorations for around the house. She finds sewing to be rather peaceful. Tracy loves the water and goes swimming sometimes to relax. Breakfast in bed. Family dinners. Roses. Tracy loves children. She does her best to brighten up the day of any child she encounters. Tracy enjoys reading a good True Crime novel. Coffee. Dislikes: Tracy hates seeing harm come to her children, (second husband) or anybody else that she cares about, and will do whatever she can to protect them. Tracy hates the mainstream films of today and the trash that Hollywood produces. Aside from Netball, Tracy doesn't really care for sports. Cigarettes (it's a love/hate relationship). Tracy despises the trendy music of today, such as Ke$ha, Beyonce and Kanye West. Smart-asses. People who abuse animals.Tracy dislikes some of her students and co-workers at the school she works at. Tracy isn't very fond of cats, as she is allergic, so she much preferring dogs. Tracy hates her ex-husband and her sister, and hopes that neither she nor her kids ever have to hear from them again. Tracy hates slackers and bad parents who don't pay attention to their kids or who abuse them. Tracy hates religion, believing it to be the root of all evil and hates people who try to push their own beliefs onto other people. Tracy dislikes drinking alcohol and doesn't see the point in wasting money just to black out and feel sick. She will have an occasional glass of wine on special occasions however. Chick Flicks. Tracy dislikes teenagers who feel as though they can do whatever they want without facing the consequences. Long periods of running. Religion: Tracy despises religion and claims that it is the root of all evil in the world that we live in today, and she just may be right. Tracy doesn't mind people who are religious and she is most definitely not going to condemn anyone who does, as she believes that everyone has the right to choose their own beliefs. What Tracy does hate though, is organized religion and those who try to force their own religious beliefs on to those around them. Trust me, if a pack of Mormon's decide to knock on Tracy's door on an early Saturday morning, she will be more than happy to give them a piece of her mind. She has even managed to have an overzealous Mormon arrested for trespassing on one occasion. Suffice it to say, no more Mormon's have dared to step foot on Tracy's property since that incident. A large part of the reason that Tracy doesn't believe in God is the fact that her father was taken away from her at such a young age. After his death, she lost all concepts of faith and chose to instead be an Atheist. Posted Image Strengths: Tracy's family home is located near a beautiful and naturally clean lake. A benefit of this is the fact that Tracy and her family live right near a beautiful water source. Tracy loves to come home from a hard day of work and unwind by taking a dip in the lake. Tracy doesn't just use the lake as a source of relaxation though, and will also swim quite a few laps around the stream, pushing herself while also keeping in shape for her job. As a result of this, Tracy is quite a good swimmer, as long as she doesn't stay in the water too long. Tracy is in good physical shape for her age (one of her co-workers loves to joke that Tracy is actually fitter than the school's Gym teacher), which has resulted in her being a decent runner. While she can't run for too long, and she won't be winning any races anytime soon, she can still outrun the average person. Actually wanting to run is something completely different though as Tracy would much prefer to spend her time in the water swimming, then on land running. Tracy always dreads whenever she has to run fast, which often happened often as she had to chase her children around the house and yard while they were growing up. Very observant and perceptive, something that helps her in her work as a high school teacher. Weaknesses: If Tracy is left in the water too long, she begin to freak out, with her mind drifting back to the death of her father. She will sometimes even see the image of her dead father while she is underwater. This is why Tracy makes an attempt to go swimming as often as she can. She believes that if she forces herself to endure the water for long enough, she will eventually overcome her fears. While things are definitely getting better, both the fear and the visions of her father have yet to go away entirely. Tracy is a sucker for children, and she will do absolutely anything to save a child if she sees one in harm's way, especially her own children. She will gladly forfeit her own life in order to save a child. Tracy can sometimes across as being a bit too cold when she interacts with people, and in this past this has resulted in certain people not opening up to Tracy or to them withholding important information from her. When someone really gets on Tracy's nerves or does something to hurt her, she will find it hard to forgive them and will usually hold a long-lasting grudge. This is currently the case when it comes to her ex-husband and her sister. She just can't find it within her heart to forgive them. Skills: Tracy's family home is located near a beautiful and naturally clean lake. A benefit of this is the fact that Tracy and her family live right near a beautiful water source. Tracy loves to come home from a hard day of work and unwind by taking a dip in the lake. Tracy always dreads whenever she has to run fast, which often happened often as she had to chase her children around the house and yard while they were growing up. Very observant and perceptive, something that helps her in her work as a high school teacher. Goals: Tracy doesn't really have any wishes or aspirations for the future career wise, as she is quite content with the work she is currently doing as a high school teacher. She hopes that all three of her children can grow up to live successful and happy lives, and that she can still be a part of their lives until the day where she finally passes away. Tracy always does her best to support both her children and her husband towards their goals and dreams, doing whatever she can for them. One wish that Tracy does have is for her and her family to never have to hear from her ex-husband or her sister ever again. She has managed to avoid the pair and their family for a number of years now. Tracy simply wishes that her, her husband and their three children can find peace and live out the rest of their lives happily, always staying close together as a loving family. Tracy loves her second husband, and she hopes that they can spend the rest of their lives together. While are no signs to show that they will be getting a divorce anytime soon, Tracy can't help but fear that something will happen to ruin their relationship. Tracy can't help but feel this way due to her previous failed marriage. Fears: More than anything in the world, Tracy fears losing both her children and her second husband. Due to this she can be seen as something of an overprotective mother. She doesn't like any of them going out late and she doesn't like her youngest child going out on their own, often going with them or making her teenage child accompany them. Tracy also fears that if anything were to happen to herself and her husband, nobody would be left in the world to take care of her children, resulting with them being left alone in the world. God forbid that her sister and Tracy's ex-husband would become their legal guardians. That's another thing that Tracy fears. The return of her ex-husband in her life, as she feels that he would try to destroy the happiness she has built for herself and try to take their adult child away from her. While Tracy is a good swimmer and swims regularly, she also has a slight fear of deep, submerged water due to the accident in her childhood that took her father's life. Tracy sees her routine of swimming as a way to conquer her fear. So far it has achieved mixed results, much to Tracy's frustration. Relationships With Other Characters: (I'll fill this in once the other characters have been posted) Secrets: Tracy feels responsible for the death of her father from when she was a little girl. She accidentally caused a distraction while driving in the passenger seat, which caused him to lose concentration and slam straight into a railing. Unfortunately, the railing gave out, and the car plunged hard into the river underneath, with Tracy and her father left struggling inside. Tracy was eventually rescued, but her father was not so lucky, and Tracy has been left grief stricken ever since. She deeply misses her father and thinks about him every day. She hasn't told anyone that she feels like she is the cause of his death. She has also never told anyone that she sees visions of him whenever she is submerged under deep water, as she believes that it is her own problem to deal with him. Her husband knows of her fear of water due to the accident, but doesn't know the extent of it. Tracy trusts him, and doesn't think that he would judge her if she told him, but she doesn't want to burden him with it and doesn't want to have to make him worry about her even more whenever she is in water. Possessions: Tracy carries a fully charged mobile phone on her at all times just in case of an emergency in which either her husband or one of children need to get into contact with her. Tracy is rarely seen without a packet of cigarettes, a habit that she hates, yet also one that she can't get rid of. She brought along a couple of disposable lighters as well. Tracy brought along a suitcase full of clothes, and she also brought along multiple cases of clothing for her children. She also had to help her husband with his packing as well, much to her own amusement. Tracy made sure to bring along enough food and drinks for the trip, as well as a few sweets and snacks. She also brought along all of the necessary cutlery and cooking utensils. While she isn't too fond of alcohol, she did secretly bring along a classy bottle of wine for when her and her husband can find some alone time to spend together. Tracy also brought along her sewing needles, as well as some materials, for whenever she can find some time to relax. Plans For The Trip: Tracy is really looking forward to the upcoming trip. She has noticed that as her kids are getting older, they are slowly getting further and further away from her emotionally, and she doesn't want this disconnect to continue. Remembering the fact that her uncle owns a cabin out in the middle of nowhere that he never uses, Tracy decided that the family should make the trek out there and spend Christmas and the holidays there, together. Tracy's main reason for selecting the cabin is because it is cut off from civilization. The family will be forced to spend almost all of the time together, and that's the way Tracy wants it to be. She wants to spend as much time as she can with her children before they all grow up and move out of home, leaving Tracy with empty nest syndrome. It took some convincing, but she finally managed to convince everyone to join in on the trip. Her teenager was the hardest one to convince, only agreeing to come if they could bring their boyfriend/girlfriend with them. Tracy's adult child decided to come as well, bring her partner and their baby along with them. Tracy's husband suggested to bring his father/mother as well, so they aren't along for the holidays, to which Tracy happily agreed. All in all, Tracy can't wait for the trip to begin and looks forward to all of the memories that are going to be made there. Posted Image |

I am working on Paige's adult friend character in family 2. I want to add more about how paige met them when I see the Parents bio. Most likely knew them since she was young depending on their age. |

Family 2: Teenage Child Posted Image [Juno Temple] Name: Evelynn Drew Nickname: Eve Age: 17 Sex: Female Sexuality: Bisexual Posted Image Nationality and Race: American caucasian Appearance: Evelynn is always dressed in loose fitting clothes (oversized tees, shorts, anything that allows movement but is still cute). She's known around her friends and family as the token tomboy. Most days you'll find her in a cute pair of jeans and an oversized sweater, outside skating or rollerblading. Occupation: Evelynn has a part-time job at the local skate park. Personality: WILL FILL IN SOON History: WILL FILL IN SOON Posted Image Hobbies: Evelynn's has no true hobbies because her hobbies take up her life. When she finds something that truly interests her, she becomes so entranced in whatever it is that she essentially isolates herself from others. Her "hobbies" include rolleblading, skateboarding, swimming, and dance. She is always doing one of these things, and if she's not, she's with friends or just dead asleep. Her dance, though, isn't what most would expect; not crunk, hip-hop, or that stuff. Rather, Evelynn prefers the beauty of ballet dancing. It's the only "tomboy rule" that she breaks. Likes: Pizza. She can cram an entire pizza down in 20 minutes, leaving people in shock. She absolutely loves to eat, though her constant activity and fast metabolism makes up for that. She also loves almost any sport, though mostly the ones listed in her hobbies. Dislikes: Conceited people, whether they be guys or girls. It completely turns her off of them, and she'll just leave. It annoys her to no ends. She also hates people who are lazy. Why waste your life on the couch when you could be having so much fun being active? But of course this doesn't make her conceited. Religion: Christian Strengths: Fast, active, not easily tired, outgoing Weaknesses: Hypocritical, obsessive, judging, is not physically strong Skills: Swimmer, skater, active Posted Image Goals: Evelynn wants to run a marathon one day. At the cabin, she wants to show the kids who may prefer the TV that being active is much healthier. Fears: Serious injury that would disable her or prevent her from her activities Relationships: WILL FILL THIS IN SOON Secrets: Absolutely nobody knows this but her [will choose a family member or friend when they are created], but Evelynn is addicted to the high from adderall, a medication for Attention Deficit Disorder. This causes her to have a non-stop dry mouth when she takes it, so she almost always has water bottles with her. Possessions: Water, skateboard, rolleblades, swimming suit, iPod, diary Plan for the trip: Evelynn wants to have an adventure, to explore. How do they feel about the trip?: Excited, ecstatic almost. Extra: MAY FILL IN LATER Posted Image |
