Today's topic is Bad/uncomfortable hospital experiences Anything embarrassing, uncomfortable or bad happen during your time at the hospital? I hate having male doctors or dentists. It just makes me so uncomfortable especially if it's a male gynecologist looking at my va jay jay. =[ |

I have had one terrible hospital experience that I refuse to go into detail about, other than that, I've been to the hospital for stitches a few times. The worst hospital experiences are when you sit in the waiting room while your friend is in the emergency room, and you have no idea what is going on. |

When I was in the hospital for my lower back surgery many years ago, I had a bad reaction to the anesthesia that...well...I couldn't pee. It became so bad that the nurses had to straight catheter the pee out of me. I cannot compare the pain to anything else (it's a wonder it hasn't been used as a torture in horror movies). During my third straight cath, the nurse turned on the TV and said "Watch this to take your mind off of what is about to happen down there". It was during the straight cath that I learned via the TV that one of my cousins had been murdered. Needless to say, about a painful hospital story as possible. |

Omg thats terrible. My worst hospital experience is seeing my little sister's dead body in the mourning room. I could barely go close to her body and look at her. My mom was saying how cold she was and she kept hugging and kissing her. It was so sad to see. It's been a year already. |
