This movie is amazing, imo and deserves pretty much all of the praise it gets. It didn't need gore, it didn't need long, drawn out dramatic moments, it didn't need anything big and fancy. It was just raw and realistic, with some great suspense moments, awesome cinematography, deaths that came out of nowhere, and some of the scariest villains in horror history.

I <3 this movie and the atmosphere and the gritty feel-

But the characters suck (aside from Sally <333), and they ALL needed more development. They felt like chainsaw fodder without the chainsaw (lthrface)

Except Franklin. Dude, just STFU

I actually loved all the characters. They don't have any less then some F13th films, and they are all likable (except for Franklin, though i understand why he's upset he's still annoying as shit). This movie is a classic, and is constantly intense. Like every time you want a breather, or think you will get a few minutes BAM it keeps going. Brilliant in every way, imo. It's one of my favorite horror films ever even though I don't watch it much.

Yeah they do  Franklin and Sally were the only ones with any sense of personality. Most GOOD Friday films at least give the characters that

Likeable is up for debate. I hate Franklin, like Sally, and am pretty meh at the rest TBH

Although I'm not 100% sure if this is my favorite in the series anymore (it's at least tied with the remake) this movie STILL scares the shit out of me O_O. I don't know why but... it just does. Especally the whole dinner scene. (lthrface)

^ It's extremely well made. The people feel so... real. Which is why it's disturbing.

Lol, random but: does anyone else wonder how the business of the restaurant in the house is? I bet most of the costumers are going because of TCM.
