I can see her point. Upon first watch this wasn't all that great. Its not until rewatches that I truly started to appreciate it and see what people in 1974 first saw.

I thought it was great the first time I saw it as well but...the first half hour up until Kirk's death almost put me to sleep lol.

There's an old theater near where I live called the Wildey that brings back one old horror movie a month and shows on the big screen. hopeful that TCM 1974 makes it way there soon. Saw Jaws there again, and Halloween (JLC origiinal) as well.

An old theater once brought this back actually, but that was a long time ago and I'm pretty sure it's shut down. Saw it once there and enjoyed the hell out of it.
