I absolutely loved how they got the characters to go to the town. It was really clever. Normally the characters stumbles upon the killing grounds. And I saw this baby in HD- it looked fantastic and I loved the darkness. Adding a little girl to the mix was also very fresh for this series.

And the Stretch cameo <3

Not sure how I feel about this one. I watched it a good few years ago when I got it on DVD, but I haven't watched it since.

I didn't get a vibe but then again I've only seen it once.

I think he could've just been Metro or something, thanks to the nail polish, apron, and some of his mannerisms. He seemed a bit flirty toward Michelle so I don't think he was gay.

Agreed with above. I doubt Tex was gay.

Well he could've just been trying to lure her.

I just finished watching this now:

This was a surprisingly good film. Not sure why it has a mere 4.8 on IMDb. Much better than Hooper's sequel IMO, as it maintains the gritty, sadistic tone of the original but also isn't shy to chuck in some humour. The scenes where we see the family in the kitchen/dining room are, by far, the most entertaining parts of the film, especially when Leatherface is playing the video game or upset that his headphones are broken. The film isn't anything overly-special, but I was pleasantly surprised, hence the positive tone of this small review. Was quite gruesome, had enough interesting characters (especially the sons and the little girl), and a few awesome moments (all involving Benny kicking ass).
