Okay, so we got new carpet in my room. The day before, my computer was working perfectly fine. After the carpet gets in here my computer stopped working. I finally got that fixed, but now I'm totally lost on how to get my network adapter to connect to the internet. I've almost given up and don't know what else I can do with it.

I've already unhooked all the wires in my computer and hooked them up correctly.
I also cleaned all the hardware inside my computer.

well here are some things to help fix your proble
first: try to get a hardwired connection
second: try to use a wireless bridge to connect your computer.what a wireless bridge does is that it takes a wireless connection and turns it into a hardwired connection.but a hint is that if you take the wireless bridge rout then do not get a wet45-g or anything with a -g at the end because it is only used for server towers and shit so here is a link to a bridge that is cheap and good quality if your looking to take that route

wireless bridge

now if you feel like you don't want to spend any money then just try to find your network adapters driver disk and re-install the drivers and if you cannot find the disk just find the driver online by typing the model number or name of the adapter in Google.
i hope this helped and shit and good luck :D
