The main question i have is needing to know if the i7-3770k is better than the i5-3570k in the long run? (i mean, it's obviously more powerful) I know you only really need an i7 for video editing and such, but if i get the i7 will i be able to go a longer time without upgrading, than if i went with the i5? I'm willing to dish the extra £80 if it means i get an extra year or 2 out of it.

Also, i need help with motherboards, any suggestions?

The card im getting is the ASUS Nvidia GTX 670
I have all of the other part sorted out, but if you guys wanna know i will list them.

The best bet is to find benchmark comparisons between the two CPU's and see if it's worth it for the activities you'll be doing. I'm not too up to date lately on PC components, but I personally would just spend the extra 60 for the higher end component and have that piece of mind.
