Hi everyone.

I'm new here but not new to collecting football cards. I may be from the USA but I call soccer, football anyways ;)

I started collecting ice hockey cards when I was younger but now the companies flood the products with autographed cards and game used cards forgeting and ruining the actual fun of just collecting nice looking insert cards (ex; MOTM, Hundred Club, etc). However in many football products (Match Atax, Super Strikes) there are just insert cards and limited editions which is something fun to collect in my opinion. I will be showing pictures of my collection in a few days so keep an eye out for them. In my years of collecting cards, I've made numerous trades with buddies in Ireland, Spain, Germany, France, Norway, and the list goes on and I'm looking to expand more.

I play football for fun with my mates. Over here in America the sport is growing :1356 My favorite club is also the most winningest club in the history of European Football, Real Madrid CF. David Beckham has been one of my favorite players ever since I started following the sport in 2002 despite all the hate he's been getting over here in the USA. My other favorite player is Bastian Schweinsteiger, some say he is one of my long lost brothers because I look similar to him. I also love various Americans playing abroad in particular Tim Howard, Jozy Altidore, Brad Friedel, and Clint Dempsey.

I have many cards to trade since I live in the USA. If you like any American sports and want to swap me some football cards for them, let me know and we can make a trade. Looking forward to trading with all of you! Let's keep this is a fun hobby.

Cheers! :cheers

Hi Mr Schwein,
Glad to see your post from "across the pond". Given the World Cup draw of yesterday where USA and England have been drawn in the same group for the 2010 World Cup how do you rate USA's chances? I reckon they could end up runners up in the group. USA did beat Spain recently of course, so they are a force to be reckoned with. England to win the group outright I would expect.

Hi Andy,

Glad I was able to find another football trading card site especially with many collectors from the UK. I have high hopes for the USA despite the fact we will be without arguably one of our best players, Charlie Davies. Plus, I'm not a major fan of our coach Bob Bradley. He is a coach that can win big games but struggles against teams we should beat. I think we can win against England because in the World Cup, anyone can beat anyone. I'm honestly equally worried about facing Slovenia and Algeria. Although it was no fluke we beat Spain, we really did not deserve to even play them. That goes to show the magic and excitement of football. Here is how I think the group will finish.

England
USA
Slovenia
Algeria

I am not really interested in fat-sack Americans, as me and my friends call you people, but since you collect cards, I don't really care :1356 :1356
The reason I call the fat-sack Americans that, is because 80% of the population are people OVERWEIGHT :sofun

Anyways, I also think USA have a chance of winning the group, but England is most likely.

Tim Howard is amazing. I remember the amazing day of the Confederations Cup final.

USA 2-3 Brazil.

It was an amazing match, the strongest was Howard, he played amazing. In USA's U21 team the keeper is also quite good.

The keepers are probably of such class because of the weird sport, American Football.

I don't get the point of that game. Get a ball and run past a line, but then again, soccer is kicking a ball past a line, so not a big difference.

:cheers

Haha its funny you think I'm fat lol. I'm the exact opposite. I'm a major health freak, I eat all of the healthy foods, watch my intake of junk food and lift weights and excercise a lot. No doubt though you are right that many people over here are wayyyyy overweight. It honestly makes me sad because it chops off many years of their life. Oh well, you can only do so much when it comes to other people :(

Tim Howard made some big saves today against Spurs. We may lack major football talent over here but when it comes to our keepers, I think we have some of the best in the world in Tim Howard and Brad Friedel. American football is not my favorite sport. It's kind of like rugby but there are soooooo many commercials and stoppages, its boring. I can't watch the local team play anymore not because they are bad but its just too many stoppages. After you watch football (soccer) for a good part of your life, you just can't enjoy any other sports.

:cheers Hope to make a trade with you!

Hi

May you forget the best U.S.A, players Landon Donovan and Onyewu. And I miss Brad Friedl so much.
Usa is my "other" team.

We will trade, K. Living in Spain its easy to me get all about Real. Just let me know what you look for.
You better get ready to collect my MLS album, in return.

Greetings
Most probably i can't see your replies "PM me" or usbigfalcon@hotmail.com
