Hello everyone. I've been collecting cards since the late 90's (all sports) and I was looking for a good football retailer since they don't have one stateside. I came across futera and after some research, I still have some questions: 1. Does futera have a more 'official' photo of the players signing? Having a player walking down the hallway or sitting in their car holding ONLY ONE CARD doesn't ease my doubts, considering how many there are in production 2. Have they released any info as to where and how they received their authentic kits which they put into cards? 3. Has anyone had any luck with receiving some sort of guarantee of authenticity for anything? 4. Is there any reason why they don't acquire licenses from the domestic leagues (not really an issue, just curious. Too many fees maybe?) 5. Not really relating to futera but can't there be a more 'centralized' way to get these signatures? Companies like upper deck sends the cards directly to the players homes or have them sit down in a meeting where they sign. They even put a camera ON THE PEN to show the player signing. All signatures are directly on the card too so for those who have something to say against stickers, they don't exist anymore and the cards are still fully guaranteed. Why cant the same be done for football? Its time for all companies, not just futera, to show some professionalism and dedication when it comes to football cards I know this is a terribly volatile topic but not once have I seen these exact questions asked, or answered |

I think if you look through the other futera questions and threads your points have been raised and answers of some sort are there. |

![]() ![]() The wording on the card backs of Futera autograph cards state when and where they were signed so this can be checked out and I think gives a personal touch to how you feel about the card. Their cards are on-card autographs and as per the photo, their cards are certified by a Futera director. Also on their memorabilia cards they give details about the jersey or kit swatches which can be checked out, and they don’t use event replica jerseys like you might find yourself getting elsewhere. Other publishers don’t seem to release football cards or authenticate to this level, it would be good to ask these questions to all the publishers on different threads/forums so that as collectors we can see a summary of who does what. |

Hopefully all the old threads are still around. Read those and make up your own mind mate. Although still not paying players to sign, Futera do seem to be improving their practices. Good luck with your collecting. |
