(Casts Resurrection!)

Lucas just rolled his eyes and flicked a hand at the psychopathic lord of Hell, "Whatever, man. Just don't get anything on my fucking cannon." He muttered irritably as he headed out of the shop, leaning against the wall just to the side of the main entryway with his hand on his sidearm, a clear sign that bystanders should move the fuck on.

The man seemed unperturbed by the hand at his throat, continuing in his monotone, "As I said before, the shop will now notify the bounty office and the local authorities. As it appears I won't be able to collect on the cannon, or on anything for the next while, I have set the bounty quite high. If you leave now, I will lower it to such that only lower level bounty hunters would bother."

He gave the first real sign of emotion, giving Itachi a level, if a touch irritable, glare, "Take it or leave it."

So the other guy left? Good. Only took him to say the obvious to get him moving outside the shop. The man in his grip didn't seem to change his tune either.
"As I said before, the shop will now notify the bounty office and the local authorities. As it appears I won't be able to collect on the cannon, or on anything for the next while, I have set the bounty quite high. If you leave now, I will lower it to such that only lower level bounty hunters would bother." he told. Itachi just flashed him a bright smile of sharp fangs, letting out another deep laugh from his throat that was more akin to a stuttering growl. The man glared at him.
"Take it or leave it." he said. The man liked to make deals no one wanted it seemed.
"I'll take you instead," Itachi stated as he shifted over into his demon form, his jaws opening wide to clamp shut on both sides of the man's face. His fangs dug in deeply, driving through muscle and bone, and Itachi ripped his head back, tearing free skin, muscle, tendons, anything that got into his mouth free from the man's face. The nose was completely torn free as was the skin around the man's eyes, his cheeks slipping free all too easily to expose all the teeth. It more than likely wasn't lethal, but sure as hell painful. The demon lord took his time to readjust his grip on the man, letting him take in the pain of having his face ripped off before Itachi's fangs once more came in and closed shut on the man's throat. His teeth sought out the trachea within the folds of fatty skin around his neck, gripped hard, and pulled back, ripping the man's throat out as well as silencing him. Itachi dropped the fat man finally, shaking his head of some gore. Next thing he did was fling a few spheres of aura at any cameras he saw that could see him, the door and howitzer. Seemed like it was all good now.
"Oi. You can come back in here now," Itachi said dully. Itachi wasn't going to help move the howitzer, not yet at least. It wasn't his thing. Instead, he dragged the fat man over behind the table to get somewhat out of sight, and began to tear into him to find the parts he wanted for his snack.

The man didn't react, not once, as his flesh was rent and torn. Black blood, thicker and more viscous than any blood should be spurted everywhere as the corpse went limp almost immediately. The faint smell of fresh clay and cleansing oils filled the room as it hit the floor. There was silence, for a moment. Then the buzzing of alarms as the cameras shattered under the force of the fox's aura.

Lucas peered in the door at the sound of the buzzing, then entered with a snort of amusement at the demon's tone. Clearly bored, but whatever. He didn't overly care about the owner, though the smell was interesting. What he was after was just sitting there now, waiting for him to claim it. He grinned and ran over to it, excited as a schoolboy as he inspected it from every angle, touching it gingerly with his fingertips to trace every nick and battlescar.

"Perfect," he murmured reverently as his fingers ran along a groove on the edge of the shield, the heat warping telling the tale of a near miss from an enemy anti-tank shell.

Meanwhile all Itachi could do was kick at the body he had taken out. It was inedible, unusable, a waste. At first the black blood had suggested to him being a vampire, but that wasn't so. Either way, Itachi lost interest and turned his head to Lucas.
"Yes, wonderful. How do you plan to get it out of here?" He asked Lucas. Was he expecting Itachi to be a draft horse as well and carry it for the human? Itachi was damned to leave empty handed after finding the shop keeper impossible to ingest, and so he grabbed the wheel lock pistol he had been fooling around with and shoved it into the waistband of his black jeans for the time being. He looked back to Lucas, arching his brow with an expectant look on his face, waiting on a reaction or answer.

Lucas rolled his eyes and glanced back at him, blinking curiously at the state of the owner's body. The flesh was turning... brown? "A homunculus? Really? Huh. Never would've guessed, guy must be the real deal." He turned away from Itachi and dug into his pack, grabbing his chalk and beginning the process of drawing a circle around the howitzer.

"Don't muck with the lines," he called out as he finished, inscribing characters and symbols in complex patterns around the circle, "Bad things will happen. Very, very bad things." He hummed a tune to himself as he worked, ignoring all else around him. It had taken ages to learn how to do this, and a lot of heckling from his dad, but he finally had the formula just right. It just took, y'know, forever.

Several minutes passed as he inscribed the magic circle, finally taking a step back with a satisfied nod, "Bitchin'. Now we just take care of a couple more things." He drew a compass from his pack, fiddling with it before taking a few steps to his left and nodding in satisfaction. Then he gave the back of his head a firm whack and winced.

"Hold this for me, will ya?" he said absently as he tossed his bionic eye to Itachi and set his feet. He took a deep breath and spoke clearly, "Yea, I am the Fourth Step of the Ladder Most Divine, the Head of Creation, and the End of Faith. Son of God, Father of God, One with God, I do hereby bend the Laws of Creation to my whims."

The circle smoldered and sparked, growing more violent with each word until a storm of lightning and fire had swallowed the howitzer. Lucas took another breath and continued, ignoring the growing heat that made the ceiling sag dangerously, "That which exists shall not exist, that which doesn't exist shall be brought into Creation. I am the Maker who doth Destroy and Rebuild. Hear me and obey. Begone from my sight, to reborn anew in the place of my choosing!"

There was no sound, none at all. For a brief moment, everything ceased. Then the storm imploded, sucking the howitzer into nothingness. The rush of air was a thunderclap in the enclosed space and the glass of the windows and door imploded, filling the air with razor shards flew about for a spell before falling to the ground in a sparkling rain. Lucas just laughed and grinned at Itachi.

"I love doing that. Care to get out of here?"

"A homunculus? Really? Huh. Never would've guessed, guy must be the real deal." Lucas says as he observed the body with Itachi for a moment.
"Yes, which leaves me still hungry," Itachi muttered. He continued to kick at the remains while Lucas fiddled with chalk on the floor.
"Don't muck with the lines. Bad things will happen. Very, very bad things." He warned to Itachi. The fox rolled his eyes.
"Because as a lord of Hell I've never seen a circle before," the fox said, voice dripping with sarcasm.
"Bitchin'. Now we just take care of a couple more things." He told. Itachi let out a sigh, stuck with nothing but the blaring sirens to focus on. Lucas finished up, then returned to him briefly, holding out something. Looked mechanical.
"Hold this for me, will ya?" he said absently as he tossed his bionic eye to Itachi and set his feet. Itachi caught the eye, looking it over for a second as he backed up more, slightly distracted, giving Lucas to do his circle magic stuff. It was nothing impressive, in fact Itachi had seen it before. Lucas just laughed and grinned at Itachi.
"I love doing that. Care to get out of here?"
"Yes. Please," Itachi said, holding the bionic eye out at arm's length for Lucas so he could drop it into his hand.

Lucas hummed and snagged his eye, popping it back into his head and rolling it around for a few seconds, blinking rapidly. He looked around quickly, brushing glass off of his mantle as he made sure everything was in order. He could hear the sirens already nearing the shop and made a snap decision. He just hoped the old fox didn't do anything... rash.

He grabbed his wrist and yanked him hard, rotating at the hip to turn it into a toss. At the same time his free hand went to his waist, grabbing Adler and drawing it quickly as his eye opened up fully. Almost unnatural green turned to wholly unnatural red as the eye's fake surface receded, revealing the targeting system within. Adler roared in quick succession, a pair of rounds flying into the homunculous corpse and shredding it into oblivion. A second pair slammed into the naval gun, one of them swinging wide to streak into the open barrel. The final trio streaked out the door, slamming to earth just in front of the incoming vehicles.

At the same time, he kicked off backwards, following the tumble of his companion and muttered under his breath, quickly invoking the words as the circle sparked and churned once more. He shuddered as he finished, knowing that this was going to hurt. A lot. Itachi'd be fine, the lucky bastard. And then the vortex hit, and his world turned red.

The hangar was dark and dingy, the old metal walls tinged with rust and age. It's sole inhabitant lay dormant, the old howitzer still sparking on occasion. Tools littered the workstations, gun parts and mechanical bits overflowing from everywhere. They were disturbed by the sudden appearance of the two of them in a thunderclap of energy, Lucas slamming to the ground on his back with a howl.

He writhed on the ground, his vision red as his eye socket felt like it was on fire. He clawed at his face, trying desperately to get at his eye before it started melting into his head. Fucking thing always reacted to his magical signature, every fucking time. He finally worked a finger close to pop it free of the socket, gasping for breath as the metallic orb rolled away, glowing faintly.

"Fuck that hurt," he groaned, "Welcome to my shop, I guess. Just, ah, make yourself at home? I'm gonna need a minute..."

Itachi began to brace himself instinctively and plant his feet as he was grabbed, and when Lucas flung him forward, there wasn't much Itachi could do about it but recover himself for the landing, albeit a tad shocked at how strong the human had to be to fling him. The fox rolled on impact into a four point ready stance as Lucas retrieved his gun from before, and fired. He didn't aim for Itachi, rather the old body of the shop keeper, a bit around the shop, and then outside as well. Itachi was not sure exactly why. But as he jumped back towards where Itachi was, saying nearly the same words as before, he knew better and braced for the warp. And then the shop was gone.

Itachi hit the ground lightly and rather fluidly, pulling himself upright into a standing position to dust himself off while Lucas fell in flat on his back. Itachi stopped to watch as Lucas frantically pried at the false eye and took it out again, letting it roll a little across the floor by him.
"Fuck that hurt," he groaned. Itachi took the time to stoop down and retrieve the eye once more.
"I'm shocked you havent gotten an infection from a foreign object from you taking out your eye and leaving it on the ground," Itachi commented.
"Welcome to my shop, I guess. Just, ah, make yourself at home? I'm gonna need a minute..." Lucas said. Itachi shrugged and wandered, taking the eye with him. He placed it on as clean a spot he could find on a table as he passed along them, looking over the tools, torn apart guns and side projects.

"I don't generally leave it on the ground, y'know," he griped as he forced himself into a sitting position, "I've got spares. Somewhere." He climbed to his feet, muttering idly as he sifted through endless parts and tools. He glanced over at Itachi briefly and waved a rifle barrel in the general direction of a wall mount, "That one there might interest you, the first rifled musket to be made in the United States. Cost my old man a small fortune."

He gave a small exclamation of triumph as he finally found the small red chest. Lucas popped the lid open and grabbed one of the eyes sitting in the foam guards, pushing it in slowly and wincing as it synchronized with his nervous system. It rolled around in his socket as it initialized, his sight returning with a pop, "That's better. Much better. Now we can get down to business!"

The excited gunsmith darted to the one clear workbench in the facility and spread a large sheet of blueprinting paper over it. Immediately he began jotting down notes and designs, mumbling under his breath as he absently worked figures in his head, cross-checked dates with the internet databases in his eye, and worked angles to slowly craft the design he was working towards.

"This howitzer, it's the one I've been lookin' for for ages," he noted absently, "Every piece of it is special, extraordinary even. And every bit of it will help, though what I really need is the barrel for now." His hand flew across the page, sketching out diagrams of the barrel assembly followed closely by a bulky chamber assembly a bolt. "Bolt action will give it reliability, but I won't be able to go purely bolt action cause of the size of the rounds," he mumbled to himself, "I'll have to design a mechanical system to supplement the bolt-action."

He glanced at Itachi suddenly and blinked, "Think you can spare some blood? I might need it in a few minutes. It'll help the process move just a little bit faster."

Itachi could care less about what the man was talking about. He got him access to the gun, that's all he had to do. He wholly ignored the guy as he prattled on and scribbled out a diagram of some sort, the fox looking about the shop silently.
"Think you can spare some blood? I might need it in a few minutes. It'll help the process move just a little bit faster." Lucas asked. Itachi's red eyes went back over to him. What for?
"Why?" Itachi drawled lazily.

Lucas blinked and looked back at him, "What's a magic ritual without blood? 's just a pint or so, don't be a goit." He kept working as he talked, even without working, his hands drawing, erasing, redrawing with precision. He returned his attention to it as he started into the most complex pieces.

Magic was just that, magic. But as anything, there were underlying rules and underlying systems behind it, even if those were fluid and loose. If one could learn them, learn to twist them in ways that benefited them, one could do far, far more with what they had. And with a cannon such as this, the Einherz family's magical formulae would do wonders.

"Super spatial coordinates on the seventeenth parallel need to be figured, maybe the forty-ninth ring? No, no that's not- the thirty-fourth, of course! That leaves the third, twenty-sixth, and sixty-second. Those are easy, though, so maybe I should focus more on the Nauhaus Principle? Yeah, when this thing affects to real-time, it'll... need to adjust for that."

Lucas was pretty much ignoring the demon at this point beyond sliding a bucket back to him, the word "blood" crudely written on it in red paint. The dried crust around the rim laid to rest any question whether it had been used prior or not.

"What's a magic ritual without blood? 's just a pint or so, don't be a goit." Lucas asked. Itachi snorted loudly. Well, no shit.
"Use your own. I'm not going to put myself on any magical backlash front lines for you," Itachi said over his ramblings. A bucket slid over to him was a good way to irk him. He had done enough tests for ANGEL once; fill this bucket, do this test, lift these weights. It was a biting gesture that, even though it wasn't meant to, set off the demon with bad memories. The fox demon kicked it aside.
"Do you have any idea how badly things could go from using demonic blood? Unless you got a good idea, and a good fucking reason for it, my veins are closed," he growled with another snort.

Lucas turned around to regard him and blinked.

"Cause using a pint of my own blood will put me out for like, a week? I'm human, if you hadn't noticed, we tend to be kinda fragile unless we're some freaks with stupid powers."

He turned back 'round to continue with his work, "'Sides, it's not like its the first time I've used demon blood. For all your posturing, it's no different than human blood or angel blood or anything. You're not gods, no matter what you might think of yourself. Fill the bucket or don't, doesn't matter to me a great deal in the end."

"Just tells me whether you can be counted on to contribute or not."
