It had been such a long time since Itachi had visited the cold northern mountains. One reason was because of the terribly cold climate. The first time he had come up here he hd gotten caught in a blizzard that would have killed him. The second time was no warmer, and was because of his brother's friend who was in need of a toxin antidote. Now it was summer, and it wasn't so cold. There was still snow, and it was still cold, but bearable to the demon king now. It was just under 30 degrees, no longer fifty below. But the snow was still very deep, and Itachi was getting quite a workout trying to get through it all, hands shoved into the pockets of his trench coat. His boots plunged through the snow, almost bogging him down as it came up to his knees. Most of the way he had flown, but now as he neared the location, he had landed to get a closer and better view. He also wanted to check and see what had happened to the summoning circle he had left here last time. It didn't allow him to summon simply there on her doorstep, which was quite vexing on his behalf. But as he got closer to a ridge he felt he didn't need to worry about searching any further. He made his way over to the mineshaft opening, peering inside to see if it was clear and not obstructed, before heading into the tunnel to the door further inside that lead to a tigress' den. |

Jen busies herself in the kitchen making lunch. Myr'rym had sent her a new recipe for her to try out, spicy orange glazed salmon served with seasoned rice and a vegetable medley. Outside a fox perfectly comfortable with the frigid temperature outside watches a black clad figure trudge through the deep unbroken snow. The fox was nearly invisible buried in the snow with only its snow white head poking out. An second fox materializes much closer to the figure to get a better look before vanishing once more into the re-purposed mine complex. Jen smiles and lowers the heat on the vegetable medley. She gets a sauce pan and begins making hot chocolate for her guest. He never did enjoy walking though the snow like she did. |

Itachi made it over the large drift of snow that the weather had made at the mouth of the mine, banging his boots off as he looked around. He checked the floor, following it a little before going back to the snow drift. He started kicking some of the snow aside, revealing the bare floor. "Oh, well, that's why," he said as he uncovered the snow encrusted seal. It had deemed the area un-transportable, and wouldn't allow him to use it to summon there, all thanks to a foot and a half of snow covering it. He made a mental note to make a now one a bit further in away from the snow drift's reach for next time as he headed deeper into the shaft. Deep in the tunnel, Itachi finally came across the door to the tigress' den. He pulled a hand out from a warm pocket and lifted it, knocking on the door. He hoped she was home... he didn't want to have to sit out in the cold any more than he needed to now. |

Jen stirs the chocolate drink as she muses whether to pretend she did not know he was coming or use the knowledge her her advantage. The fox was inside the mine complex and descending to the her living quarters so she did not have much time left to decide. The hot chocolate prepared she turns off the burner and moves the pot off the heat. She checks the fox's position and decides she has enough time set the table. Two plates of spicy orange glazed salmon with rice and vegetables covered to keep them warm. A small vase with a two red roses placed in the center of her breakfast table. A decanter of chilled red wine to go with the fish and chocolate. Two mugs of chocolate with a filled thermos set next opposite of the decanter. Finally she sets the silverware and makes her way to the heavy steel blast door that isolates the living quarters from the reset of the mine. The door starts sliding open before Itachi could knock on the door. |

Itachi's fist froze mid way to the door as it opened. Looking at Jen he opened his fist and gestured with it in a sort of "oh, well, hell" kind of manor as he raised his brow at her. "What gave me away? Well, who; Nick or Kira?" Itachi asked as he dropped his hand. "Hello there, Jen," He adds in, giving a formal welcome, "I would say sorry for the visit without much warning.. but I have a feeling you saw me coming. How have you been?" He asked her as he shoved his hand back into his warm pocket for its own safety until he was allowed in where it'd be a bit warmer. (short I know..) |

"Kira spotted you first." Jen replies. She smiles at having at least temporarily throwing the fox off balance with opening just as he was about to knock. "Hi Itachi," she greets and steps aside with a welcoming wave into the living quarters. "Been good. Anyway come in and make yourself at home," she continues, "So what brings you out into the cold?" She lets the door slide shut behind the fox. |

Itachi took Jen's greeting readily, happy to be let inside the mineshaft turned home. It was indeed much warmer inside, and Itachi could remove his hands from his pockets without risking frostbite. "Thanks," he said. "So what brings you out into the cold?" "Well, I have a proposition for you that I'd like to discuss. It's about your weaponry, more importantly, your ability at crafting weaponry. Can you guess where this is heading?" Itachi asked, turning to face Jen now that he was inside the house. |

"I believe so," Jen replies with nod. The tigress wonders why the Itachi needed some guns made. It had to be guns as she knows Itachi has access to plenty of sword-smiths and blade-smiths that where better than her down in hell. The tigress also wonders if it was for him or some bulk order. "Lets discuss this over some hot food and drink," the tigress suggests leading the fox to the kitchen and breakfast table. "Took the liberty to make some hot chocolate for you. Also have some salmon and wine if your hungry." She waves at the table. She takes a seat. "Go ahead and take a seat." |

"Lets discuss this over some hot food and drink. Took the liberty to make some hot chocolate for you. Also have some salmon and wine if your hungry." "That's very kind of you, thank you,"Itachi said in appreciation to Jen as he followed behind her to the table where she had set the food. He got the feeling she had known he was coming by more than a few seconds, enough time for her to reach the door before him. "Go ahead and take a seat." Itachi did so, sitting across from her in the other open chair. He was unsure if he should start right away, or eat a little of the food first. "Jen, it's no mystery that your gun is specially made for yourself, specifically by yourself.. but I'm wondering if you could make a large siege weapon as well, or any other type of large bore gun that a demon like I could use... and if you could replicate it en mass," Itachi stated as he cut a bite of fish off and speared it with his fork before eating it. "Like a ballista, or large crossbow... cannons. Hell, even a Nest of Bees with better accuracy," he added. |

Like a ballista, or large crossbow... cannons. Hell, even a Nest of Bees with better accuracy" Jen sips her chocolate thoughtfully. "I could make any of the listed weapons though not sure I could make them at any real high rate. Something similar to the original version of my shotgun, I could produce at maybe 5 a day once production gets up to speed. It depends on the complexity and size of what you want. Bigger weapons take more time to make so do weapons that require a lot of parts or work to make. There is also the issue of training, anything I make would require sometime to get familiar with but the user would need even more time if they don't even know which end is the dangerous end. Ammunition would be an issue, takes me several hours to make even the simplest the rounds I use in my personal weapons." She takes another sip then uncovers her plate. She starts with the rice first to clear her palette then starts on the fish. She smiles then digs in to her meal. As usual Myr'rym sent her a recipe that was very much to her liking. |

Itachi paused in his meal once Jen finished her explanation. "I understand that. Time isn't that big of an issue. I'm planning ahead.. how far ahead is still uncertain. See, I need these weapons for Hell," Itachi explained. He paused and picked up his glass of hot coco, an odd choice for now but he wanted something warm after being outside in the cold. Once he had wet his mouth he set the glass back down. "Training also would not be an issue. Train me on them. I'll train my generals. The generals will train the others. You know I have no issue with funding you as well. And so, personal weapons aside, I would prefer if you focused mainly on large weapons. Ones I can place on the walls of hell to defend from outside forces. Ones that a group of soldiers can operate as a team," Itachi clarified. He picked his fork back up. "I need to arm Hell and prepare it for war." |

"Well that gives me a better idea of what you looking for. I'm still not sure what weapons to provide you with." Jen says while studying the fox on the other side of the table. "What effect you want to achieve with the weapons? What exactly you want them to do?" She asks the fox. She debated if she wanted to give examples but decided it be more informative to get the fox's answer without biasing him with her own suggestions. |

Itachi took a few moments to eat a bit more of his fish. The conversation recently hadn't been allow him to actually savor the taste, he was far too concerned with getting what he wanted to say out of his mouth before he forgot and moved onto a different subject. The weapons right now were top priority to him. "What I want are siege weapons able to take out if not large numbers, then large targets. The catapults we have are good, but simple. And they take so long to load. I can't help but have this feeling that.. Hell is in danger. That. pro human organization that's running a muck up here, ANGEL, is concerning me. They have too much technology to themselves. They aren't sharing with the common people," Itachi stated, shaking his head. "They want to keep that kind of power in their own hands. And I know first hand that they have no good intentions at all. I feel that their hatred and lust for tearing down all supernaturals may lead them to Hell's gates somehow. Not quite sure how they'd achieve it, but... they may." Itachi's brow furrowed with worry. He couldn't wrap his mind around it. Just how would they get to hell? Force a demon to show them? Make them take them there? He stared down at the last little bit of fish left on his plate. He didn't think he'd be able to finish it now. "It's like a storm on the horizon... I can feel it, but not sure when it's going to strike. Or how badly it will," He said, spearing the last bits of fish all together on his fork as he managed to find a way to finish the meal past his own worry. |

"What I want are siege weapons able to take out if not large numbers, then large targets." That comment narrows the weapons down greatly down. Only three different weapons excel in those goals: cannons, mortars, and rockets. The tigress was not good at making last option. "They have too much technology to themselves. They aren't sharing with the common people. ... They want to keep that kind of power in their own hands. ... Not quite sure how they'd achieve it, but... they may." Jen nods in agreement. "It's like a storm on the horizon... I can feel it, but not sure when it's going to strike. Or how badly it will." Jen nods again and waits to see if Itachi was done talking. "I have an idea what weapons would suit your needs. Any of these three general classes of weapons would work. Cannons. Mortars. Rockets. The first two I can make easily enough since there both types of guns. The third rockets I cant really make myself but can be just as effective if not more effective than the first two. They all have there unique advantages and disadvantages." Jen says just to get those thoughts out of the way. She moves on to the second topic Itachi brought up. "ANGEL does have a nice collection of toys. Its just that, toys. A bunch of spoiled kids with thier fancy toys. I do see how it can be difficult to face against them without thee power and skill to neegate the advantages the toys grant them." |

Itachi nodded his head as Jen listed the three weapon types down. He liked the sound of the first two. Itachi was feeling off with the rockets, it was a territory he was very unfamiliar with. Mortars and cannons used simple black powder he was used to dealing with. Rockets to him were new, dangerous, and from what he witnessed needed precision to make sure it didn't go off and explode while just doing tests. He had heard worse things than good from what rocket technology brought. "Yes, I also think it would be less expensive to create the cannons and mortars as well as the artillery than it would be to make the rockets.. as effective as they'd be. I'm well aware of the advantages and disadvantages of the cannons, not so much the mortars," Itachi told Jen, switching now from the hot coco to the wine. "ANGEL does have a nice collection of toys. Its just that, toys. A bunch of spoiled kids with thier fancy toys. I do see how it can be difficult to face against them without thee power and skill to neegate the advantages the toys grant them." "Mm!" Itachi agreed mid sip as he put the glass down, "And don't I know it. Anti aura fields they can set up, net guns that hold empty conduits or something that sap aura.. iron weapons and restraints, frags, holy weapons... and much more than I can remember. I've lost countless soldiers to them and their.. 'toys', and they weren't low class soldiers. These were men that have been in the legions since they could pick up a sword and fit in the smallest armor," Itachi paused for a second to take a breath. "They have known warfare their whole life, but all it takes is one of those fancy toys, or a lucky shot, and they're gone. I don't even want to get on with the horrors that await them should they be captured and not killed. I may even issue cyanide pills should they get in a tight spot. I thought my time in there was bad... I can't begin to say the atrocious acts they perform on others. I can't anyway, it's for her to tell. Not me," Itachi stated, "But I need information. Who's their weapon creator? Who's making these things and giving it to them? If I can stop the source, I can slow it down or limit it a bit." |
