I skipped two weeks but watched this weeks. I couldn't figure out what they were implying about Elliot. Is he on drugs? He was late returning to the boat but to me he didn't seem high. I held my breath when they were doing the transfer of the man in the crab pot. I would not trust Elliot to do that, and sure enough there was a problem. Somehow I think Elliot will be off the show by the end of the season, again.

I don't think I actually saw Sig afraid before but did you see him fall to the ground when that wave came over the boat? That was scary.

That was scary. This storm looks awful.

I know what you mean about Elliott. He seemed sober, but maybe he has a high-tolerance? And were they saying he caused the other guy to fall off the wagon.

Why did they have to transfer a guy between the boats?

Why did they have to transfer a guy between the boats?
The guy they were transferring had hurt his back and could not work up to Keith's expectations. Keith of course gave him a big lecture, but then hired a replacement. Rather than wait until Keith's boat was back in Dutch Harbor, Keith asked Elliot, who was in Dutch Harbor offloading, to bring the guy out on his boat. Then they'd do a transfer in the Bering Sea from Elliot's boat to Keith's. DUUUUUH, big mistake.

I did not get what they were saying about the other guy on Elliots boat. It seemed he did a drug transaction on the boat, but did it have anything to do with Elliot? I was not sure.

Ahhh. The guy who hurt his back and then was making a Halloween costume?

Yeah, that was stupid. Sometimes Keith makes stupid decisions. I guess it was because the rest of the crew was pissed that he wasn't working.

Now I reread my post and realized I didn't describe it correctly.

Keith's guy was hurt (I didn't see the Halloween thing). So Keith hired a backup from town. Because Elliot was in town offloading, he asked Elliot to ferry him out and transfer him to his boat. Keith's crew sent over the empty pot, and Elliot's guy gets hurt by the pot when it lands on the boat, breaks his arm when the pot lands. Then they did the transfer of the replacement guy back to Keith's boat and I guess it was successful.

So Keith's Halloween hurt guy and the new guy are now on Keith's boat, and Elliot is stuck with a crewmember with a broken arm. I THINK I have it right............who knows? That poor guy with the broken arm was in agony, I felt sorry for him. And then to have put up with slimy Elliot's comments.

Ahhh. I get it now.

Yeah, Elliott was implying the guy hurt his arm on purpose?

OMG. Elliott was too high to drive his own boat? In a typhoon? So he decides to go on deck and act like a jackass.

I have it on DVR. Caught up with a couple of other epis yesterday.

I would not go on a boat with Elliott. Even a sailboat. I'd go with Sig, and that's about it, and I'd like Edgar there to protect me too.

I saw in the description of my DVR'd show that Elliott had to leave. DOPE.

Oh, I see he Tweeted this after last week's episode.

“To everyone yea I had issues but went to passages Malibu for 60 days and have a new outlook on things now! Hate all you want but I’m above it,” Elliott tweeted on May 13.

He's above it, right. And Passages has such a good reputation. ^o)

Yikes. I wonder if passages can do anything about the slime that seems to permeate from his every pore?

This week's episode was pretty uneventful. Jake whines on deck and Sig gives in and lets him haul some pots. And Phil's kid still sucks at Captain.

I started watching it.

I finally finished the show where Elliott walks off into the sunset, I hope forever. He really endangered lives on that boat. And why anyone listened to his orders, I don't know, but I guess obeying the captain even if he is a drug addled asshole, is ingrained.

Yeah, I think you look at the boat and see what kind of captain is in charge. Keith told off Phil's kid and rightfully so. That deck was a mess. If it weren't for Deadliest Catch, Phil's kid would be in Dutch Harbor or rehab like the other son.

Did you ever hear of bairdi before?

I'll have to check Elliott's latest tweets from whereever.

Sadly, why do I think he'll go right back to drugs?
