“BIG BROTHER” INTRODUCES TWO NEW TWISTS FOR THIS SUMMER’S EDITION WHICH PREMIERES JUNE 26 ON CBS

For the First Time, Three Houseguests will Find Themselves

Nominated for Eviction

Viewers to Play an Influential Role in the Game of BIG BROTHER This Summer by Voting for the “Big Brother MVP”

BIG BROTHER Returns with a Stylish Mid-Century

Modern Chic Design and a New “Live Show” Set

BIG BROTHER will unleash two new twists into the stylish, redesigned house this summer that will influence the strategic landscape of the game when it premieres on Wednesday, June 26 (8:00-9:00PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. Julie Chen is the host.

The first twist is a series’ first: instead of two Houseguests being nominated each week for eviction, as in past seasons, contestants will nominate three in this summer’s edition. This process will be further explained during the season premiere.

The second twist will allow BIG BROTHER viewers to play a crucial role in the game by casting votes for the Houseguest they feel is playing the best game. The Houseguest who receives the most votes will be anointed that week’s, “Big Brother MVP.” The full scope of the MVP’s secret power will be revealed during the season premiere.

America will start casting their votes for this season’s first “Big Brother MVP” before the Houseguests even enter the game, beginning with a pre-premiere vote starting Thursday, June 20, following CBS’ cast announcement of the new Houseguests. Fans can visit cbs.com/bbmvp to cast their vote.

“The Big Brother MVP will force the houseguests to rethink their strategies. With America rewarding good game play, it doesn't pay to be a floater this summer,” said Allison Grodner and Rich Meehan, Executive Producers of BIG BROTHER.

This season, the Houseguests will enjoy a stylish BIG BROTHER house with mid-century modern chic décor. The living room features a stacked stone fireplace filled with concrete balls and LED lighting and an eight foot brass starburst; the redesigned kitchen sits below a giant gold world map; the plush, spa-like bathroom is lined with cedar wood; and the bedrooms include an architect’s studio vibe and a crayon-colored room featuring Los Angeles landmarks.

The Head of Household suite is entirely black and white, including an aquarium of Koi flown in from Asia to bring good fortune.

The mid-century style of the BIG BROTHER house continues on host Julie Chen’s newly remodeled set. The multi-story front of the house features a new high-gloss stage, a lighted runway and a massive 103 inch plasma screen, as well as several other screens, for Julie to monitor and communicate with the Houseguests.

Click here to view and download photos of the BIG BROTHER house.

Following the premiere on Wednesday, June 26 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT), BIG BROTHER will be broadcast three nights weekly – Sundays (8:00 - 9:00 PM, ET/PT, beginning June 30), Tuesdays (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT, beginning July 2) and the LIVE eviction show hosted by Julie Chen will be broadcast on Wednesdays (8:00-9:00 PM, live ET/delayed PT, beginning July 3).

BIG BROTHER follows a group of people living together in a house outfitted with 65 cameras and 98 microphones recording their every move, 24 hours a day. Each week, the Houseguests will vote someone out of the house. At the end, the last remaining House Guest will receive the grand prize of $500,000.

BIG BROTHER is executive produced by Emmy Award-winning producer Allison Grodner and Rich Meehan for Fly on the Wall Entertainment, in association with Endemol U.S.A.

LOL, Brendan is an idiot isn't exactly news Mariah. But it sounds like the rumour about friends and relatives of former hamsters is probably true.

Thanks for the scoop Mariah! Those twists (MVP and three noms) sound good. I hate floaters so I think I will enjoy the MVP.

Big Brother Updates ‏@BBrotherUpdates 11m

MVP has special powers, doesn’t have to let the other HG’s know that he/she is #BB15 #BBMVP. As MVP “you will have to do some dirty work”

Elissa is Rachel's sister, in case any of you didn't know. So she is the "familiar face."

Ugh. A Rachel relative. And she sounds just like her. Ugh.

Candice Stewart is a pageant girl. She was Miss LA Teen USA 2002 and Miss LA USA 2005. She was also a Saintsation, the Saints cheerleaders.

Yeah, but it's a young cast, and mostly attractive. That COULD work well for this show!

Lot's of Facebook and Pinterest pages for these guys are still up, if you want to look. Also, the redheaded guy is our token gay.

Damn! It's going to be hard to resist getting the damn feeds. First really all new people cast in ages.

I don't even mind Rachel's sister, she's always seemed prettier than Rachel to me, and kind of nice in interviews as well. We shall see.

Also, the token black guy looks hot, haven't seen his interview yet, but at least it's not another Lawon idiot.

Straight list of names:
Elissa Slater, 27, a nutritionist from Kannapolis, N.C.
Aaryn Gries, 22, a college student from San Marcos, Texas
Andy Herren, 26, a professor from Chicago, Ill.
David Girton, 25, a lifeguard from San Diego, Calif.
GinaMarie Zimmerman, 32, a pageant coordinator from Staten Island, N.Y.
Jeremy McGuire, 23, a boat shop associate from Katy, Texas
Howard Overby, 29, a youth counselor from Hattiesburg, Miss.
Helen Kim, 37, a political consultant from Chicago
Nick Uhas, 28, an entrepreneur from New York City
Amanda Zuckerman, 28, a real estate agent from Boynton Beach, Fla.
Spencer Clawson, 31, a railroad conductor from Conway, Ark.
Jessie Kowalski, 25, unemployed from San Antonio, Texas
Kaitlin Barnaby, 23, a bartender from Minneapolis, Minn.
Judd Daughter, 26, a property appraiser from Etowh, Tenn.
Candice Stewart, 29, a pediatric therapist from New Orleans
McCrae Olson, 24, a pizza delivery boy from Oak Grove, Minn

Mariah, I'd already read or heard about the three nominees every week. I like that because that messes up the 'backdoor' option - like the MVP will mean floating is no longer a good strategy since America isn't going to vote floating as great game play.

This is the most buzz I've seen about BB in a while - which is good for the show.
