Well, you can vote, but I agree, the feed times suck. I just hope that they expand them if the show gets good ratings. You can see the clips though. I don't know if they will eventually put up the live feed parts.

I think it's interesting that they are living in the house for a full week prior to going on air. Should make for interesting dynamics once we start watching on prime time. The early days of BB are always the most boring, followed by the end when we are down to 3 people. I like the middle part best.

The HG's are tweeting right now!
:P

This described some of the first live feed for those who missed it. I liked the woman's voice asking the questions though!

ABC’s ‘Glass House’ debuts live-stream as CBS tries to shut down the show
By Lisa de Moraes

As CBS’s campaign to shut down next week’s scheduled debut of ABC’s “The Glass House” gets down to the wire, ABC went ahead Wednesday and launched the new reality show’s first live-stream from inside its house — nuking much of CBS’s argument in the process.

Turns out, the real-time competition series “The Glass House” — in which 14 fame-seeking narcissists live and compete for a quarter-million dollars in a totally wired house — is not, as CBS accuses, a knockoff of its “Big Brother.”

It’s a parody.

“Big Brother,” for starters, is hosted by CBS’s “The Talk” ringleader/CBS Corp. chairman’s wife, Julie Chen, whose stiff-ish performance as show host/den mom has earned her the nickname “Chenbot.”

Wednesday’s live-stream of “The Glass House” was wrangled by a disembodied, computer-generated-sounding chick voice that, on Twitter, had earned her/it the nickname “FaRi,” as in “faux Siri” — Siri being the name of the iPhone4S personal assistant.

“Here. We go players. We’re about. To go. Live,” FaRi told the 14 “Glass House” players at the top of the stream.

“If you are not illiterate, you have been eliminated,” one competitor said, summing up the players.

“I am going to. Ask you and the fans the. Very same question. All you have to do is. Answer it for. Yourself,” the disembodied voice explained.

All questions were multiple-choice. Webstream viewers were asked to play along and results would be compared.

Question No. 1: “What’s the best way to break up with someone?”

Glass House-rs were told to go to a different room of the house, based on the answer they’d picked. In this case, all but one headed to the room designated “In person,” though one chick went to the “Over the phone” room. Most of the viewers went with “In person.”

“Nobody here ever had a crazy boyfriend?” the lone chick in the “Over the phone” room asked defensively.

Please reset to the living room” FaRi ordered.

Question No. 2: What is most important to you in a mate?

Most Glass House-rs headed to the “Sense of Humor” room, where the chicks, having lost their initial nervousness, began to pose, flip their hair and blow kisses at the camera. One lone, overweight guy headed to the “Looks” room, and one chick struck out alone for the “Intelligence” room.

By the time FaRi read the third question, the competitors were talking over her nonstop, and the chicks were spending a lot of time posing for the cameras, making hand-hearts, and hanging from the necks of the guys. One of the guys gave them a run for their money in the vamping department, however, opening his shirt to show off his chest hair and smacking himself on his rump once or twice.

Our merry band of ABC castmates seemed in perfect harmony when it came to a question about the most inappropriate thing you can do on a first date — flirt with someone else, natch. And all but one of them thought living with someone of the opposite sex was okay if you’re not married to that person — prompting the question: What is that one competitor doing in the co-ed “Glass House”?

They were 100 percent in agreement that dating a subordinate was more inappropriate than dating a co- worker or dating your boss — once they’d had explained to them what “subordinate” meant. In this, they broke with America, which voted overwhelmingly that dating your boss was The Worst.

They were, however, deeply divided as to whether it’s okay to have sex on the first date, with one guy taking a firm stand that he would never date a girl with whom he’d had sex on the first date.

Encouragingly, nearly 70 percent of viewers said sex on first date was not cool. This so impressed one of the chicks in the house that she vowed, right then and there, “I’m not putting out on a first date ever again.”

Mission Accomplished, ABC!

Another brave women stuck to her guns when asked who was The Cutest Couple, heading into the Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson room all by herself, while the herd shuffled off into the Beyonce and Jay-Z room. But viewers gave the win to Tom and Rita in a landslide.

“Some of. You did very. Well. Others. Not so. Much,” said FaRi, adding solicitously: “Did.You have a. Good time?”

Last month, CBS sued ABC and some former “Big Brother” staffers who now work for ”The Glass House.” CBS cried copyright infringement, trade-secret misappropriation, unfair competition, breach of contract — even conspiracy. Last week, CBS filed a request for a temporary restraining order to halt production of the show and squash its June 18 launch date.

On Monday, ABC submitted its argument as to why the legal system should ixnay CBS’s request for that temporary restraining order. The Disney-owned network noted that the $16 million is already spent — on marketing alone — and how a temporary restraining order, even for a week, would “seriously undermine the show’s potential success.” Real cry-me-a-river stuff.

In response to ABC’s response, CBS on Tuesday noted that former “Big Brother” producer Kenny Rosen — who is the “Glass House” show-runner — has insisted in the past that “The Glass House’ is based on the flick “The Hunger Games,” but ABC has abandoned that position, trade publication The Hollywood Reporter wrote.

I was watching the feeds today- I got distracted and then my loopy neighbor came over- and i didn't turn the feeds off when they first ended- and it made this loud noise like at the end of a tv broadcast day- a loud alarm-like thing- and got stuck there. I turned the computer off and turned it back on- and i got the "blue screen". My son was able to fix my computer- but i don't know why this happened- kind of scary.

Yeah- I probably had a couple of other windows open- and it was totally fine while they were on- just my ditzy neighbor and making dinner was distracting me- and i left them on probably 15 minutes after they were over. I'll definitely watch again, anyway- my computer is new and has a good warrantee :) I was enjoying it when my neighbor distracted me. They were asking each of them the question "what is your biggest regret? the 43 year old woman's was that she was going to have a government/fbi career- but she had to move home and care for older relatives- got married, had kids- and now she's too old to work for the gov't, because she said you have to stop by 37. Then she said- but everything happens for a reason- i love the life and family i have- and I get to write my SEX BLOG " lol Then some older guy- I think his name is mike, told a gross story about his biggest regret being the time he ran over a mother rabbit and all of her babies- and one of the young guys regretted becoming a dad at a young age and not being able to join the military. I'm going to try to catch up on all of the clips before it starts on tv.

The clips are also going up on You Tube JFYI. Also the tweets they are sending are giving away a lot of tension and background information about what is going on in the house.

I hope CBS doesn't stop this show from airing, some of the members are developing quite a few lovah's or hatah's. Oh, and someone found a photo of one of the ones who said she would "love her gay child" demonstrating in favor of Prop 8.

'Glass House' Lawsuit: Judge Temporarily Denies CBS's Restraining Order

ABC CBS is suing ABC over the series, claiming that "Glass House" employs proprietary information from its own series "Big Brother," obtained from numerous employees that formerly work on the CBS reality competition.

"Finding the public's interest in access to the documents at issue to be outweighed by the potential damage to the parties resulting from disclosure of confidential trade secret information, the Court orders that CBS be allowed to file the documents under seal," Feess wrote in the order.scored a major victory in the lawsuit over its upcoming reality series "Glass House" on Friday, as U.S. District Judge Gary Feess temporarily denied CBS' request for a temporary restraining order against the series, which is scheduled to premiere Jan. 18.

CBS filed its suit in May, claiming that the similarities between the two series -- which both feature a group of strangers being filmed cohabiting in a house while competing against each other -- are too many to be coincidental.

ABC has countered that the similarities brought up by CBS so far are merely staples shared by numerous reality series. The network also denies that it has poached former "Big Brother" staffers to create a copycat series with "Glass House," countering that the group has worked together on a series since "Big Brother," and they were brought together once again because they have developed a good working relationship.

YAY!

Meanwhile, from producer tweets it seems like they are quickly scrambling to (possibly) amp up this season, perhaps get some stunning looking mactors in or something, possibly even fixing up the house. (all speculation) Just tweets saying "busiest pre season ever, and will make a decision soon I hope" that kind of thing.

you mean producers for BB Mariah? Do the feeds work on the weekends?

ETA- It really doesn't bother me that BB has stayed the same all these years. I like the challenges (and you know what to expect) - what I've disliked is the monkeying w/ the show after it's on...and that unfortunately won't change I don't think.

No feeds on weekends, 3 or 4 hours after Mondays show there will be significant feeds though. New clips may be up.

Yeah, I meant BB producers.

I get addicted to the feeds so I have to say I am SERIOUSLY sick of that house and yard being the same old thing year after year. The new BBUK house is AMAZING. Meanwhile still votes and tons of tweets from GH.

In another turn in the Glass House case, ABC late Friday opposed as “overbroad” a CBS request for the network and the new reality show’s employees’ correspondence. On May 10 CBS sued ABC, Keep Calm Productions and various former Big Brother producers claiming that The Glass House is a rip-off of their Big Brother. Earlier this week, as the two networks battled over a proposed temporary restraining order on The Glass House’s June 18 debut, CBS said that it wants to see all documents in the preparation and production of the ABC show, including emails, texts, social media, design plans, show manuals and episode outlines. ABC, who under CBS’ proposal would have only 48 hours after the judge’s ruling to hand over the material, late Friday dismissed the request. “CBS appears to be wielding this litigation, and this overbroad discovery, as a weapon in an effort to thwart ABC from launching a successful competing show, and to prevent its former employees from taking the job of their choice,” ABC said. ABC claims that CBS’s latest discovery requests would scoop up correspondence unrelated to the case such as “if two story editors from The Glass House who never worked on Big Brother exchange emails about whether to include a fight between Joy and Alex in next Monday’s episode of The Glass House.”

The discovery matter ABC filed late Friday with magistrate Judge John McDermott came as both sides await a final ruling from Judge Gary Feess in CBS’s request for a TRO to stop production on the show and The Glass House’s June 18 premiere. “There is no injunction from the bench today,” said Feess at a hearing on the TRO on Friday morning. “I think it is unlikely I will change my inclination but I do want to look at any materials again.” CBS is represented by Scott Edelman, Michael Seitz, Theane Evangelis Kapur and Blaine Evanson of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher. ABC is represented by Glenn Pomerantz, Jonathan Altman and Carolyn Hoecker Luedtke of Munger, Tolles & Olson.
