Well, Liz would have taken Van to f2, but she didn't win part one or part two. She came pretty close on part two and on part one she caved to Van's manipulation. She definitely could have won part one. Didn't like Van's style, but I think she had the best game. But Steve was smarter than Van (and so many feeders) gave him credit for. Van treated Steve like a little pet so many times. I was shocked at how people denigrated Steve on the feeds. Did Steve own up in the interviews to already graduating from Cornell? Some people on the feeds found a list and his name was on it;if it was correct he just graduated. I have to watch those by interviews; it was too late for me on Wed. I don't think Van was honest too many times in the game including the DR. Gee, at least Derrick owned up to his game in the DR. It would have made the game more fun. Also pretty petty on Van's part to vote for Liz to win. No way would Liz have been a deserving winner. We are all tied up here with the Pope. I'm hoping he goes down my street on the way to the UN but it seems unlikely right now . Its exciting. Edited by weaver, Sep 25 2015, 05:10 AM.

I had no idea he graduated from Cornell. No, if that's true, he's still saying he switched from the Ivy-league (Cornell) to the State School (Fredonia?) and that he'll begin his last semester in January and that he wants to go on to Grad School. Very cool! (the Pope) I'm enjoying watching, too. |

Who knows what is true. I checked his LinkedIN too though and it indicates 4 years at Cornell. I think he is starting graduate school at SUNY Fredonia, now will have to be postponed until January. I'm pretty sure Van caught him on that once while playing chess, but they were speaking so softly I couldn't hear. She found a discrepancy with his age and his year in college. Van finished Duke in 2.5 years. She is a smart cookie. I think Steve and Van were both on the spectrum. |

I think Van is just on speed. She's intelligent, or was before all of the drugs. |

Yes, I do believe Steve is on the spectrum. He had a conversation with Van (the same one where she outed his age vs his years of college) and she asked him if he had Aspergers. He said it was very possible but he had not been diagnosed, had decided not to down that road. I think he is smart enough to recognize the areas in which he is limited, and he took advantage of that in the game. It was best to pretend he was an awkward transfer rather than a Cornell graduate. Hey, good for Steve. One day he was doing laundry and he had me laughing out loud for about a half hour. He came in and out about 20 times for one load of laundry, to the storeroom to get detergent, back to his room to get more clothes, etc., all the while dropping things along the way and not noticing. Then after all that, he proceeded to put one item of clothes in the washer, to test if the red dye transfer that had gotten into the washer from some comp was still happening. Did you see him build his Lincoln log house that extended over the table? First time he tried, he spilled loads of water and then spent a lot of time trying to wipe it up with the wrong stuff, but he persisted and used the weights from the backyard to build some concoction to allow the log house to extend outside the table! In a million years, I would not figure out how to do that. Van thought he was far more impressionable than he really was. |

Van underestimated him a lot. For all that she "vanipulated" he was the only one who played her to any large extent. Someone said on survivorsucks- it's a valid way to win- utilize someone's moves and cut them in the end :) I missed the laundry doing- but Steve cracked me up any time he spilled something and tried to clean it up (often!). I don't really blame him for not wanting to be permanently labelled, just from my experience with my Son. Steve seems to be doing fine- and thriving- while dealing with his issues on his own, with his family's help. |

I agree. JMac stymied her too because he wouldn't spill his guts to her. In the end she didn't trust him though. I'd like to have seen Steve with Jmac at the end. Jmac treated Steve with respect the whole game. Liz thought he was stuuuuupiddddddd-ah. Haha. I think in the end when they were f3, Liz began to actually like Steve though. Wonder how Austin and Liz are doing? Do they realize they were the most unpopular couple ever? Edited by weaver, Sep 28 2015, 05:03 AM.

They know. They are (well, Liz is) staying fairly strong for now, but I don't expect it to last much longer. https://www.younow.com/RealityRecaps Reality Recaps chats. Liz addresses fingergate in hers. Edited by Mariah, Sep 28 2015, 07:42 PM.

It's baaaaaack! :D Jozea's got to go. Bronte with her Georgia Engels voice and exaggerated features needs to go. Paul has to go. |

I couldnt get through the opening show, so I hope I am out for the season. I hate the 4 returning people and Cody's bro and Van's sis. I never know though because a month or so in, it gets interesting and I find myself signing up for the feeds. That Bronte was a bit odd. |

I'm trying my best to avoid it too! No message boards (Sucks is my downfall during trying to avoid this show.) I did watch a bit of the after dark the other night, I just happened to be on that channel. Didn't have a single tinge of wanting to buy the feeds. Maybe, just maybe, I've finally kicked the habit! |
