One of my favorite shows is back. Only 8 episodes so I've gotta savor it.

Anyone else watch?

Okay. I finally have streaming netflix, my new wifi dvd player hooked up, and I see all of the Breaking Bad seasons are on watch instantly. I'm looking for a new show in my life, and I think this just might be it..Besides, how can I not watch Hal and Dr. Tim Whatley?

and Jesse just won another Emmy...yay! Even though he's short, and well a criminal and sometime drug abuser on the show, I like him, I like him alot and would so do him.

yes I know the actor is Aaron Paul, but to me he's Jesse Pinkman.

Isn't it amazing - Bryan Cranston's transformation to play Mr. White. I had a big bet with the ex back when we first started watching it. I swore up and down that was NOT the dad from Malcolm in the Middle. yeah I lost that bet.

It's AMAZING. I've only ever seen him on Malcolm in the Middle and Seinfeld (heart Tim Whatley forever and ever), and those are sort of bumbling characters. I never thought he was as good an actor as he is. Did they put extra wrinkles on him b/c I remember thinking, is he really that old?

Finished the 3rd epi today, and I was sad when he killed Krazy-8 or whatever his name was. I mean, why did you have to plan to stab him with the plate? He was going to let you go!

I can't comment too much on season 1 Oleander - I picked it up at beginning of season 2 and I can't remember if I went back and watched season 1 in it's entirety. My ex was way into it and he gave me the low down as we started season 2 together.

Not sure about the makeup, I think the hair and glasses make a big difference. Wait until you see him break out the Heisenberg alter ego. It's comical that he looks so dang dorky. IIRL he's kinda an attractive middle aged guy. Not on BB.

Okay. I stopped watching last year. Then I caught some episodes on TV, and I marathoned for about 3 weeks, and am all caught up. OMG. This show is too much. I can't stand it - seriously one of the best shows I have ever seen.

Shopper - did you watch last night?

I have spent my afternoon re-watching this last half of the final season! Love it. I was blown away and felt sick after Sunday's episode.

Ugh, I know. The way everything is just falling apart for Walt - I mean, I know it's inevitable, but it's so hard to watch.

One more episode left. I'm not ready for it to end. Last night's episode seems like filler, almost. It was well-done and I loved it, but it was most definitely setting the scene. And the end, I think it was the first time they've used the theme music in the actual episode. Gave me chills. I love this show so much.

I agree with you, oleander, about every point you made.

I can't believe there is only one episode left.

I want to see Badger and Skinny Pete again but I guess they're comic relief.

I want to see Marie get a little closure. Also Skyler, Flynn and Walt. Bryan Cranston is fantastic - I know his character isn't sympathetic, but he makes Walt sympathetic.

After watching the Emmy's I decided I really should watch this show. I tried a few times, I think when it first came on, and then again the other night. My mind always drifts away.

Maybe it's like "Alias" in a way? A fantastic show if you watch from the beginning, but very difficult to appreciate if you just drop in on a random episode?

Anyway, does anyone feel like doing a basic "here is what it's about/happened so far" recap? I think it's up against TAR as well, B Bad finale the night of the TAR premier. (I love TAR)

If it got so many Emmys though, I feel like an idiot for not watching, but a show about the Meth culture just never grabbed me.

If like me and Mariah you have been meaning to watch this show but haven't - AMC is running a marathon starting Wednesday night of the entire series. I don't know if I have enough room on the DVR or not but we'll find out.
