I do think Jenny intentionally didn't tell Jeff because she knew he wouldn't be cool with it which was dumb becasue of course he would find out. In "going behind his back" like that she pushed all his trust buttons. Remember Ryan? That said, I think he's overreacting because the woman wasn't even his client.

I also believe Jenny asked Tommy (or asked his wife to ask him) to sing at her wedding because yeah, he's not just going to volunteer to do that. And that does put Jeff in an awkward position because they are his clients. This wasn't Jeff's wedding, but they do business with Jeff and Jenny is a rep of the company. I would be angrier about that then the cabo thing.

I believe Jeff when he says Jenny is a manipulator - he knows her just like she knows him. Still, that guy and that business has such blurry boundaries who knows - but for now I'm shocked to say I'm on Team Jeff.

I just find it hard to believe Jeff was so ivolved in Jenni's wedding and yet knew nothing of her honeymoon plans.

Also very weird of Jeff (sorry, weird for normal people, not Jeff!) to discuss his employer/employee problems with clients.

I'm on Team Nobody.

Jenni knows what Jeff is like. She and her ex were the ones who pitched a reality show centering on their work life with Jeff. She's worked with him for how many years now? I can't see that she has grounds for a lawsuit based on stressful working conditions, or whatever she maintains. There's too many years of footage from this show to prove that she was RIGHTTHERE when Jeff was bringing the crazy. And still, she didn't quit even when she (allegedly) had an opportunity to get more fully into straight acting.

And Jeff? It seems that he is incapable of accepting that "his people" could have a life outside of Jeff Lewis Designs. Yes, people get married. They have children. They have PTA meetings and doctor appointments. It's called having a well-rounded life. Heck, he won't even allow his partner to be a full part of his life. Deciding to NOT move into the larger home, and putting it on the market instead? He claims he told Gage. I don't believe that. I think Jeff decided what Jeff wanted to do in Jeff's mind, and then deluded himself into believing that everyone else would be fine with it, because it was a good business decision.

Business is business and life is life. Quite often the two do not overlap. But then, the whole concept of this show seems to lie in the fact that Jeff doesn't get that.

I think his point, and one I agree with is it makes it even worse - she was a stranger that Jenni glommed onto once she knew she had a chance at a free vacation. It shows a patter of use-ery that Jenni would go so out of pocket as to accept such a lavish gift from someone she just met socially. Well, i take it back, it wasn't socially - Jenni was ON THE JOB when she met this lady. And I think it's low down/cheap all kinds of wrong to take that lady up on it AND call it your honeymoon.

I hadn't thought of it that way Shopper. I was considering the client/designer postion that didn't really exist here but now I guess it will never exist - so yeah he lost a potential client and her friends.

The whole thing is so weird - I mean that wedding wasn't cheap, Jenny and her fiance or who ever spent a bundle of money on it. Bravo might have kicked in a little but I didn't really get that impression. So why start counting pennies on the honeymoon?

Jeff said she got free airfaire to Cabo which I just assumed meant FF miles - with all that travel between Chicago and L.A. I'm sure they racked up enough points. It just seems weird to blow the budget on the wedding and then cheap out on honeymoon.

I thought so too - Jeff's boundaries are so blurry they almost don't exist.

Shopper you didn't say - are you Team Jenny or Jeff?

I hate to say Team Nobody - but I kinda am.

If pressed I'd say Team Jeff b/c his bitching about it to everyone under the sun is par for the course. I don't agree with it - but in the end I think what Jenni did was worse. By the by is it Jenny/i? It's like K/handi from ATL.

You're right, I think it's Jenni not Jenny.

I'm just sort of stunned that the finale is going to be a 'breakup' of Jeff and Jenni. I feel bad for Jeff and bad for Zoila too.

Gage still sucks though.

An eagle eye over at TWOP noticed that the "this is the hardest decision in my life" scenes see to be taped with a rather nondescript background - like a generic office space. The working theory is Jeff has to put down one of his pets, and they are in a vet's office. NOT firing Jenni.

Wouldn't be the first time Bravo has mislead the previews.

First show I watched in a long time, because I wanted to see if he'd fire Jenni. If he did, I thought it would be because she wanted to leave. But reading back, I was surprised about the lawsuit. I'm on Team Jenni. She's been making a paycheck -- Jeff is buying million dollar homes. She wants a little security and what happened happened to HER, too. I think Jeff wants to blur the line between "design secrets" or "trade secrets" which have legitimate value vs. secrets about him behind the scenes. There could be an argument that what she says could damage him in his ability to continue with Bravo ... but then again, it's BRAVO ... the worse the truth is, the better for him, frankly.

BUT overall, I doubt Jenni would reveal anything too horrible. She knows how it's done: show one thing, tantalize, then swap out the product at the end, a la Bravo editing.

Jeff had me bawling when he put his cat to sleep.
Very sad, indeed.

But then I was comforted by that mighty fine veterinarian. MIGHTY fine.

R.I.P. Monkey.

I'm not gonna watch it. Coworker told me about it - she thought of me b/c my little Simba has Herpes and is fighting a funky eye issue for the last few months. Gonna pass.

Thanks Cajun. He'll get better knock on wood. His meds for his skin allergies suppress his little immune system which makes the herpes flair up more.

Answer this - how did they resolve the Jenni conflict?

Raise your hand if you are surprised all of Bravo's previews for this episode were bullshit. Kudoooz to the TWoPers who rightly surmised those scenes were in some sort of waiting room.

Poor Jeff. I don't think I've honestly liked the guy as much as I did last night when he was being so genuine dealing with Monkey. I loved what he said in his TH about Monkey changing him. I don't have any personal experience with losing a beloved pet this way but it was really sad. The ending though was good - he really does have a crazy family of employees but I think he genuinely cares about them all and they care about him.

I was double dissapointed to see Dr. Sophy show up on this show. This time as an 'adoption counselor'. If you are following along this guy is also Shana/Traylor's "doctor" and a regular on Dr. Drew's Celebrity Rehab and assorted other reality shows calling for a psychiatrist. Blech.

I do have to agree with Gage on one thing - I think Jeff will be a great father and probably in great part to Monkey. Besides, remember how well he got along with Ryan's little girl?
