Caught episodes 1-3 via ON DEMAND ... it's extremely funny. Nene doesn't have much to do, so far, but she does it very well. Surprise, surprise, the co-star on the project is the guy from NATIONAL TREASURE who played Riley Poole in those movies. Not sure of his real name. Very good cast, funny writing ... moving, I cried ... catch it if you can ... |

I somehow missed the 3rd episode, but Icy I agree with you. I'm surprised at how much I like it. I think I posted this in the ATL media thread. Even the precocious little girl doesn't bug me. Supposedly her Little Edie schtick is actually hers and they incorporated it into the show. Makes me give her a pass b/c it's not some writer writing what they think would be precious. |

ALTHOUGH they claim she saw the actual documentary Grey Gardens. I think she is much more likely to be a Drew Barrymore fan who saw that version. Small difference, but if that kid actually saw the documentary over the remake? She's a genius. BTW: am I the only one who noticed? Doesn't the little girl resemble the daughter of Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck? Like Violet Affleck's look is copyable now? |

I actually like this show... it's snarkier than Modern Family, and I love how part of the episode centered around Nana's orgasm. |

This West Coast time difference is doing a number on my late-night TV viewing. If it's on after 9:00 p.m. I'm really missing out. However I did catch last week's episode of this show. It pains me to say that Nene seemed to do a very good job with what she was given. I was pleased that she UNDER-played her part. On the other hand, it almost seems that the part was specifically written for Nene Leakes. lol Where was Ellen Barkin? I'd really wanted to see her. ***insert sad face here*** Edited by VanderFabulous, Oct 27 2012, 04:59 PM.

Violet looks just like her mom but with blonde hair. My sister had hair that color. Mine was a more golden. Alas it vanished. thank god for hair dye. She's cute. The girl from New Normal is adorable. Is that a pic from the show or a real life picture? |

I caught this show OnDemand. Nene is really good. It's a small part but it's a network show with some real names involved [Ryan Murphy, Ellen Barkin, etc.] Take that Sheree. Ha! |

I like this show, and I DO think Nene is good on it.Unfortunately for one reason or another, I've been missing it. It's on my "catch-up"list on On Demand. |

I only watch it ON DEMAND. Just saw the latest this weekend -- no Ellen, which is sad, but otherwise it was funny. I don't particularly believe their writing of the priest, but it's a Sitcom, so there you go. |
