Okay, I just caught this show [Catfish] OnDemand. The first thing was, "Oh that movie" because I did see the movie and thought the guy - Nev- was a pretty nice guy. I'm hooked too. Chelsea the fraud came off better than Sunny the nurse. I liked that Nev found the real RJ King at the end. It's strange how this story was almost exactly like Nev's story - except Nev was more mature about the whole thing. Still, I kind of wish they had showed the sister finding out - she's probably still laughing. |

I caught the SNL skit last week too - they had Saul down to a T. I found it funny. I don't find most of the skits funny at all these days. Think they are in a slump. Homeland is also my number one show. Trying to catch up on Dexter. It's been so intense. Still 2 behind. Haven't watched Nashville or any of the other continuing dramas bc I'm so afraid they will cancel them when I get into them. SVU has been great lately but I still miss Chris Meloni and so wish he would make a guest appearance. I'm a sucker for that stuff. Trying to get into Vegas since it's all that's on that I like at that time slot but I get so tired I fall asleep and wake up to watch Daily Show just by chance. I love the cast in Vegas. Miss The Shield. |

Oh CCC I miss The Shield too - but I have not given Vegas a shot. On The Shield there was just something so sexy about Vic Mackey - I liked how he'd probably rough me up a bit. I settle for my Shield fix by watching the various FX shows. It's very incestuous over there. For instance, Lemonhead was on Sons of Anarchy (he's extra yummy too). This season Walton Googins (Shane Vendrel) played a transvestite and he was damn good! His character's name was an homage to one of his aliases on The Shield. |

Lemansky has been on tons of shows in the past few years. That is one show that I simply LOVED the ending. Vic stuck sitting at a desk. It was so perfect and brilliant and I was totally surprised. Had no idea how they'd end it. |

It was a perfect ending. Did you check out Lemansky in Prime Suspect last season - I stuck with that show for him and sadly it died. I hoped that would be his big break into prime time. |

Yep and I thought it was a great show. Even my husband liked it. It's a shame that it didn't make it. Great acting, bad time slot. We need shows like that at 8 pm - EST but it's too racy I guess. There is rarely a show like that. It's either a sitcom or a reality show at 8. I usually watch DVR at 8 now. I was hoping some other network would pick it up just like Harry's Law but I guess they are gone forever. I love Lemansky - or we should call him by his real name Kenny Johnson - the one with the angel and I hated that ending. I need to look up the name. |

I just spent the good part of 3 hours watching Moonshiners on the Discovery Channel. Fascinating and hilarious. Some of these ppl are actual morons. And they make homemade explosive devices and blow shit up. And I also saw that they're coming up with a new show - Amish Mafia. The Amish with guns. |

say what Oleander? Amish with guns? I'm finishing up the 2nd episode of Catfish. A lot less "girl you stupid" screaming at the tv. I mean girl was stupid, but it wasn't as head scratching as the first one. My guess - "Scorpio" was a local who saw Trina dance. And the next episode - two chunkettes who've been 'together' for 10 years. Can we say it together...Bitch please. |

Castle is now in syndication, I noticed it for the first time today on TNT. UGH, they just served raw turkey on Top Chef. I mean seriously? A team led by Emeril can't cook a turkey? Edited by Mariah, Nov 21 2012, 11:34 PM.

Blech. Sounds beyond disgusting, Mariah - and that's after I stuck my entire face in my turkey to be sure my defrosting methods hadn't made it spoil. Shopper - http://dsc.discovery.com/tv-shows/amish-mafia/about-the-show/about-the-show.htm the Amish guy with the gun looks kinda hot from far back. But, yes, Amish Mafia! There was a pic of one of them smashing the hood ornament off their amish car. And I can't believe I missed Catfish again. Oh, and does anyone watch Archer? It's on FX and a very adult cartoon which is beyond hilarious. It's back on in January. |

Ok I managed to frequent Lancaster co for years and years going to the outlet, yet nope, never heard of the Amish Mafia. I agree the one with the gun is cute - though that's a small picture. |

Forgot Top Chef started again - oh well. Catch on in demand. Like most shows it's starting to go stale. It's still the best of the food shows imho. I'll catch up. Yes Castle is in syndication but I don't like reruns. I love that show though. Something about it reminds of the old shows of old. Kind of like Hart to Hart but a different premise. Light hearted mysteries. Love them. My favorite show of all was the Rockford Files. Bit more serious than Castle but I love me my Castle and think Nathan is terrific. |

So I was bored and watched some episodes of Doomsday Preppers. Those ppl are all crazy. And once, just once, I want some lunatic who is hoarding food and growing 8,000,000 things in their homemade, self-preserving pond to say that they are prepping for the Zombie Apocalypse. That would make me so happy. |

I'm guessing you guys have already seen this article about how completely bogus Breaking Amish is, but just in case...interesting reading about "reality" TV. http://jezebel.com/5949245/arrests-divorces-and-secret-children-breaking-amish-is-nothing-but-lies How did they ever think that none of this would come out? Strange. Haven't watched it, but followed a link to this article and thought it was interesting. |
