TLC has never let me down... I am currently watching Extreme Cougar Wives, and I just saw a 53 year old woman climb out of her 21 year old bf's house b/c she had to go home, and they were getting it on in his bedroom and his paretns were home, so she couldn't leave through the front door. Woman - you are 53 years old, look at your life, look at your choices.

And then there is the 76 year old woman on a blind date with a 29 year old. After revealing she slept with an 18 yr old last year, she keeps telling the 29 yr old how much she likes skin. I can't even... but I will eep watching.

I actually knew a woman that was 52. Her daughter brought home her 19 year old boyfriend. Within about a year, the mom and boyfriend married each other. She had a great decade or so. It was SO weird to me because I was about 18 and that guy was my age. Her daughter had no issue with it, never figured that one out either.

Damn Oleander - that show is right up my ally and I missed it. This is not a series though. TLC seems to be doing that a lot. It's just a one hour special. Not sure if I'll invest i watching just a one off. I will say now it makes sense. I wondered why GMA and the other morning shows started doing cougar stories thursday/friday. Must have been in prep for this show.

It's disturbing as hell. And I can't help love the 76 yr old woman, even though she's a bit disturbing, creeping on guys young enough to be her great grandson. So ridiculous. It's definitely worth a watch, though - dvr it if you get a chance.

You guys crack me up. Extreme Cougar Wives? Sounds awesome. I may have to do a search for a repeat. What the hell happened to TLC? Sounds like they went rogue when they gave Kate Gosslin a show and now it's open season - the freakier the better.

Mariah, I read that link about the Breaking Amish show. All I can do is laugh that these people were able to snow some ambitious idiot reality show producers. Nice job.

OMG oleander, I did a search last night and recorded it at midnight [looks like it will be on all week.] When I was still awake at 1:30 I got up and watched it. Holy hell, that 76 year old Hattie was a borderline predator. But I have to say, I enjoyed her spirit and zest for living.

You're right though, the other two were disturbing. If a 53 year old man was "in love" with a 21 year old girl I would be grossed out. I didn't find this as gross as I did strangely hilarious. The best part was when they told the 21 year old's parents and the father said something like , "Oh great, now there will be crying EVERY NIGHT, just watch." Then the son started backpedaling on his big "commitment" to the 53 year old telling his dad the "wedding" wasn't a real marriage so then the 53 year old starts crying. And I was laughing and feeling so much better about my own life.

is anyone watching Startups on Bravo? I thought I'd hit bottom when I was one of two people in the world who watched Miss Advised...but this show has to be 10xs worse. I'm pretty sure the Harry Potter bro and sis are banging.

Wasn't it just hilarious? I was thinking that, asking my bf if he just basically said their "wedding" wasn't real..but my bf drew the line at my trashy tv watching with Extreme Cougar Wives. My favorite part is when the brother still thinks she's 43 and when they both say she's 53, the brother is all, 'daaaaaaaaaammmmmmnnnnnnnn.' hilarious. And that poor mother was equally parts disgusted, sad, and in disbelief. And can we talk about the 21 year old? His hair was perfectly layered - I bet he flat ironed it and everything. They were my favorite b/c it was truly hilarious.

And that other couple - the young guy with the gay friend who was bitchy to the 55 or however old she was.. I'm convinced it's b/c the gay friend knows that the guy dating the older woman is secretly gay and wants him. haha. And I loved the 76 yr old, too, although a 76 year old guy doing that to women would just be creepy.

oleander - step up your game..it's on Bravo. you know 90% of what I watch is Bravo.

i dunno about the cougers...if it was a series yes i'd invest the time, but the one off TLC's piss me off. I get too invested and then they don't end up making it a series.

Oh Shopper, just watch it. It really is hilarious. Like oleander said, the 21 year old with the 53 year old are the best. His family is totally worth watching. They seem so normal you feel sympathy while laughing at their reactions.

I'm the opposite, I'll watch a one-off way easier than get all invested in a series. Plus, like oleander's BF, Mr. Cosmo has his limits on my trashy reality TV viewing too. But you girls have great tips on shows - he even likes the LOL cat office show.

I'm a bit behind on my reading here. Oleander...I automatically thought of Mr. Bean when you talked about sticking your head in your turkey to make sure it was thawed. :P

You know - i can't remember where it was (here or TWOP) that I talked mad shit about The Chew - but I'm really starting to enjoy that show. I can admit the one time a year I'm wrong.

I now tape Wendy Williams and The Chew daily I'm so pathetic.

I've never even heard of the Chew, Shopper. What is it about (b/c, you know, i can't google or anything).

Cajun - I loved Mr. Bean back in the day. That show is genius. If you are into British comedies, try watching keeping up appearances. Good stuff. I used to watch it in hs, every sat night with my mother. I was a real winner ;)

It's a talk show with cooking.

Carla from Top Chef and Clinton Kelly are on it along w/ Mario Botalli and Dr Oz's daughter.

Holy shit - Handfasting??? I saw a clip of Cougars on The Soup...off to try and find another airing...why do I doubt my Sisters in Snark.
