Okay. I watched Secrets of a Trophy Wife on TLC last night. It's not a series or anything, just one of those specials that they may make into a series if it gets good ratings.
...

Worth a look for any who is interested. My loss of sleep and watching garbage at 2 a.m. is your gain :)
Thanks oleander - I can always count on you to keep my TV trash can fresh! This sounds awesome. You know I'll be recording it and watching it this week.

Mariah, they changed the name of the episode sometime yesterday to In Memoriam. I'm guessing maybe it pissed some people off.

hehe. You have to let me know what you think. I went onto Twop and there was only a page or 2 of comments. Does not bode well for turning it into a series, I think.

Raises hand!!! I did I did. Can you imagine having a ticket to that? I was thinking about my NYC friends here and wondering if anyone got so lucky. Amazing. It ran over an hour long but it didn't look like anyone cared.

A friend of mine did -she posted on FB from her seat. I couldn't afford it. I need to watch the end. God I'm tired. We made it like a real concert. I think we got pretty trashed on wine

Rachel Ray is doing on of those "which outfit cost more?" segments.

I missed the first one! I almost never miss on these things. One was about $3000, the other $132. A close up of the shoes might have done it.

On to number 2!

Got the 2nd one! $6000 vs $121. That's more like it.

I enjoy Rachel Ray, she is just so positive and it doesn't seem fake to me. Got number 3 too.

HOMELAND season one in depth interview with the creator--really a good read, a four parter.

I couldn't get into Homeland, I tried yesterday. Maybe tomorrow. I just don't like stuff about the war. Does it get back to the US?

Mariah, they canceled the Bitch in 23, which I was really enjoying. I just read about it at TWOP. I loved this past episode and damn I only watch a few things right now.

I need suggestions. CCC, I LOVED The Shield. LOVED. I would buy the box set but it's too expensive. I have The Wire.

Anything else on premium that's good? As I said, I really like House of Lies and Veep.

I tried Dexter again this season and made it through 4 episodes. I just don't get into it any more and I was a huge fan the first season. (Gave up on last season after 1 ep.) I do know I have plenty of time to catch up on it, it'll be On Demand for months.

Damn. The bitch in 23 is one of the few network shows I actually watch anymore! I love that show. I googled, see "rumors" but no confirmation. ???? I don't want to go to TWOP, did they have a link proving it?

Yes, they are back in the USA for most of the series. Homeland is more about the people than events, or even war.

There are 18 total episodes made so they will air more, just later.

I was confused too. Here's a link - http://tvbythenumbers.zap2it.com/2012/12/04/abc-dont-trust-the-b-in-apt-23-is-certain-to-be-canceled/160002/

I love Person of Interest. Does anyone else watch that? It keeps getting better imo.

Freely if you want the best season ever of Dexter it's the one starring John Lithgow. It was sick. Then the one after was good with Johnny Lee Miller. Last season was the worst.

They had Christian groups protesting it because of the word "bitch." Changing the title apparently didn't appease them.

It's a shame, it's a gem of a show.

Person of Interest is another that I try to watch, and Castle. Revenge too, though it's sinking this year, after a GREAT first year. After that it's Amazing Race, and Big Brother, Survivor, DWTS, and sometimes Scandal. Private Practice is ending and the last couple of episodes have been excellent, focusing mostly on one character. So I've added that back in too after a long hiatus. I also like The Chew, and they are bringing Lucy Coe back to General Hospital so I may watch that.

Other than that it's mostly movies or reruns of shows I didn't watch when they were on, Numbers, NCIS, Frazier, and now Homeland.

Love Castle. I love Revenge and it certainly isn't as good as last season. The stupid hurricane screwed me up. I need to watch missing episodes from when I was blacked out and not at home. My dad doesn't have a DVR. How dare him.

Ok. So for anyone who cares, this is my viewing list:

Mon: How I Met Your Mother (CBS), RHofBH (Bravo), Castle (ABC)
Tues: NCIS (CBS), NCIS: LA (CBS), Covert Affairs (USA)
Wed: Royal Pains (USA), Necessary Roughness (USA) - these two are currently on hiatus
Thurs: The Big Bang Theory (CBS). I used to watch Project Runway but I gave up on All-Stars.
Fri: Nada
Sat: Nada
Sun: Once Upon A Time (ABC), Revenge (ABC), RHofA (Bravo). I used to watch The Good Wife (CBS), too, but this season's Kalinda storyline killed it for me. I quit watching.

Oh, I loved the John Lithgow season. Last season I gave up after like 2 eps (the religious killings).

I watch Amazing Race, but that's over. I watch Top Chef, but you know how frustrating that can be, results-wise. I've been watching Project Runway All-Stars too. I guess I watch more than I said, they are just mostly stale, old shows.

ETA I'll have to try Castle. My problem is this - I refuse to watch network on-demand shows that don't allow fast-forwarding. Refuse. Will turn it right off. I'll have to see if that's one of them.
