Mariah - I just started watching Mad Men yesterday. Just made it through the first episode, but I'm going to continue, although I did say that about Breaking Bad and that's been sitting on the back burner... Cosmo - my bf loves The West Wing and has all those dvds. Never got much into the show, but maybe I should give it a try. When I was in college and grad school, I barely ever watched TV, college especially - I'd go weeks without turning the TV on. Now, I don't know what I would do without TV. Probably die. |

Mariah, I thought you would love Mad Men! So glad you got a marathon of it. I love finding shows I love and catching up on several seasons. I read they've been filming for months, and my guess would be that the show returns in the April-May-June timeframe, but I have no idea. Last season (5) premiered end of March, but the other seasons premiered later. At least we know it's coming back in the new year! Can you put a hold on the Season 5 DVDs from your local library? I do that when I think DVDs are too expensive. I borrowed Downton Abbey S1 from the library. (Couldn't really get into it, but that's another matter.) I still need another couple of shows to watch! I'm down to just a few, and I know there are great ones out there. Thanks for posting Maxxfisher's list of premiere dates. I can't get to Sucks anymore, it's blocked by my virus software. |

Freely that virus thing was a hoax from a banned poster--it's totally safe, and always has been. Just FYI. I want to OWN these DVDs, I've never seen so many extras, and all of them are good. I put it on my Amazon Wish List, so even though season 5 is still pricey, it's OK for a gift wish. My birthday is coming up, and I have one friend who panics and shops for me on Amazon at the last minute. ;) GREAT prices on seasons 1-4 though. Can you answer (or anyone!) about Mad Men. Somehow I missed when and how Pete Cambell found out that Don was really Dick, and lying. Do you know what season or episode that all happened in? I want to go back and watch it. |

Thanks for the info about Sucks, Mariah! How does a banned poster do that?! It's season 1, episode 11 when Pete finds and opens the box that Adam sent Don/Dick. |

Anyone can do it. I PM'd you. Basically if you have enough email addys or know how to spoof IPs you can just do multiple reports of any site being an attack site, to Mozilla, to Chrome, to Windows, etc. They believe it out of caution and it takes a few days to clear it up. I'm just guessing on who caused it, but it's a good guess (in the PM.) and the timing was right, just after banning, Christmas Eve--a little present. That person also had a lot of friends so they could have helped. |

I'm watching Bourdain and Nigella and some french chef and Brian Malarky on "One Bite." It's a tad boring so far while they pick people, but I LOVE that it's a blind taste test. LOVE that it will continue to be one as well. |

we watched too. better than anything else on last night. both of us liked it and love that it will always be blind as well. ludo is from top chef masters, nigella lost tons of weight, don't know Malarky, always love tony. hate a few of the contestants but know they want them on for controversy. these shows are getting a bit too predictable and of course they got this idea from the voice. so obvious Edited by cccharley, Jan 23 2013, 10:51 AM.

Oh Chile...anyone still keeping up with Catfished? The couple this week - Yikes. Rod = gay, I mean he met Ebony on a gay/bi website b/c 'you never know who you will meet' and was disappointed that Ebony wasn't transgendered. Word on the street is Ebony is an HR director for CNN. Wonder for how much longer? A good funny show - Real Husbands of Hollywood, some good eyecandy and funny as hell. I can't get with any of the voice rip offs. I'm finding my tolerance for reality competition shows is really lagging. Even the Idol Nicki/Mariah feud hasn't lured me in. |

The hell? The Taste is basically a recap show of a boring opening. I thought they would at least get down to it. Big mistake. Huge. ooops, it's just a repeat. Still a mistake, the premier wasn't very interesting, but I still have hopes for the regular show because of the blind test factor. Edited by Mariah, Jan 27 2013, 01:23 AM.

Holy crap. Just watched five minutes of The Taste and deleted it. Does it get better? Maybe I should have given it longer, but it just seemed awful. |

The Foodnetwork is my default channel. I love Chopped, and Iron Chef, etc. etc. I love Nigella too. But this show - I got farther than you andme - I made it 45 minutes. Pass. It's The Voice (a show I also passed on early) with food. |
