Another thing - I know most of you all are aging white rocker fans....but any opinions of Justin Timberlake? He's my imaginary boyfriend so I'm really upset that nothing he has released yet is speaking to me. He is on Jimmy Fallon every night. I am taping it. He's doing a new song every night. I am going to reserve jugement, but we are 0 for 2. This huge push makes me think they are afraid it will flop. He's still fine as hell. I know, I'm probably a party of one on this one too :) |

I saw the preview for The Bates Motel today, and I've put that on my to-see list. It looks good. There was a part where someone was making out with the mother. For a second I thought it was supposed to be Norman Bates. I hope I am wrong. That's just..ick. |

So - wasn't sure where to put this. But Bravo heard viewers who liked Ms. Lawrence and Derek J hosting shows. They have a limited series starting (just saw commercial) called Fashion Queens. |

Watching the American's now. WOW. I love this show. I especially loved the son breaking that beer bottle on that dude's head. AND the quick turn around on torture. SO good! |

Did anyone watch Wife Swap with Alan Thicke and Gilbert Gottfried? Alan Thicke's wife might possibly be a member of the beaver family. |

Lol andme. I didn't see it but all four were on The Spew er, The View the other day promoting it and I think you may be right - a ginormously tall beaver. Shopper, JT on SNL is a must see for me and I wasn't disappointed this time either. In fact they had all kinds of guest appearances of SNL royalty and I saw on the news Monday it was the highest rated episode in years. I never was a JT music fan mostly because like you pointed out I'm a fan of old rock music - my rock star boyfriend in JBJ. But I like JT in a triple-threat kind of way and I think this new record is pretty good. Besides SNL, I saw him on Fallon Monday night. The guy is a natural born performer. Or as Mr. C said, "What's not to like?" :) Edited by Cosmocrush, Mar 13 2013, 01:16 PM.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L4254h19Pc8&feature=player_embedded Speaking of Lisa Ling, this was interesting to watch, explaining why she left the View. I wish there was more of it. |

Yes! Archer rocks, Camo. It's absolutely hilarious - you will love it. Vulgar, crass and funny as hell. My favorite is Pam, and don't hate me but I think Archer is hot. yes, I think a cartoon is hot. I need help. The americans was very good, I agree. It's such a tight show. I'm so glad it got renewed. It was very interesting to get a glimpse of phillip's life prior to coming to the US. I hope they delve deeper into both their pasts. |

Anyone else curious if the blast from the past girl was another "test" of his loyalty? I sure thought she was, and frankly, I think he did as well. Great show. |

Ohhh, I dont' know. I also wonder if her big reveal was real. She didn't really tell him at the end. And why are these spies all travel agents? And this made me think - I wonder what all the travel agents did when the internet came around. |

Good question oleander. But surprisingly they are still around booking cruises and tours etc. My parents have some friends who have been travel agents for 30 years. People who don't need/want to travel on a budget (corporate clients) still use them as one stops contacts and in return they get an actual person to help them when things get screwed up. I can't decide if Irina was a test for Phillip or not. I'm thinking the storyline was mostly to flesh out Phillip's character and of course illustrate how his and Elisabeth's marriage is evolving. I think that it had 2 meanings. One was testing the meaning of his family - not sure how much he is on the Elisabeth bandwagon yet but he doesn't want to up and leave his children and also his internal yearning to leave the program just like his old lover. Run away and stop. He saw her run free although maybe she'll be caught and end up in an early grave but we know he has already thought about it. Or it could have been a test but didn't he just have a test last week? |
