True Blood marathon is on today, combined with a "free trial" of HBO for Direct TV peeps. Perfect timing.

OMG - when is this Golden Sister's shows on? They showed a clip on the View and it was so funny. These old ladies are too funny. I assume this show has been discussed but I missed it or didn't know what it was. I was crying it was so funny.

So I caved and ordered Showtime. Didn't realize Nurse Jackie had been back for mos now. I think it's actually over. I'm watching them all on demand. Dexter starts this weekend. You in CCC?? - I forget who else was watching it with us???

I've watched Dexter since the begining - but I kind of stopped loving it a while ago. Of course, I'll still be watching this season. I've been a Michael C. Hall fan since Six Feet Under.

Shopper, don't forget Homeland. If you've never watched then you get to binge on two seasons. Each season is like a 12 hour movie. I think it's the best show on TV right now.

Homeland is one of those I keep trying to watch. I've got season 1 and 2 on the computer. Two week ago when I was sans cable would have been perfect to watch it....but I didn't. It's like a wall for me, when I relax after work the last thing I want to do is watch an hour long drama.

The season finale of Dexter brought me back. It came out of left field (I don't read the books).

Yet another Sat night and Lifetime has me hostage. Anyone watching the Anna Nicole movie? I love how they churn out a new movie every week.

I liked Homeland. This past weekend I was re-watching part 1 of season 5 of Breaking Bad. It's worth a rewatch a year later. Really looking forward to the new season starting in August.

Sadly, I am watching trash like Mistresses also. Of course, I loved Footballers' Wives (best trashy British show ever), and this pales in comparison, but I'm watching.

I am also, sadly, watching the new Bravo reality series Below Deck. I like shows about the service industry.

Freely, I started watching Mistresses, but then missed a few weeks thanks to no cable. Just forgot to start DVRing it again.

You watching Devious Maids on lifetime? Give it a shot. Week one was hard to get through, but week two has me sold. Great summer fluff. It's in vein of Desperate Houswives - or what Mistresses is attempting to be, but never will be.

Below Deck - I just can't...even today it was one and I fell asleep. There's some good articles on how it's totally fake. Bravo rented to the yacht and kept crusty captain and engineer on to make sure it was safe. The rest of the tools they hired.

Been watching Jackie. We are a couple of episodes behind.

Had a feeling Dexter started. Looking forward to see how they wrap it up. Will Debra become the new Dexter? I know nothing yet. Glad I have something to look forward to - maybe I missed one or two episodes. Will start this week on demand. I became a showtime girl years ago and only sign up for HBO if Curb has a new season. That's my favorite.

CCC you are only one episode behind on Dexter. To think of it, not sure if there's a new episode tonight as it's the holiday weekend.

I binged on Jackie. I hate how short the seasons have become. I like both Showtime and HBO, but I hear that True Blood has jumped the shark so I'm cool w/ just getting Showtime until Dexter is over

Re Dexter- they backpedaled a bit in EW. This *may* not be the last season.

No way - another Dexter season - honestly I'll take it. I thought it was all worked out.

I binged on MadMen when I started to watch. I think I posted this but I watched the entire first season in a day or so. I was sick.

I know that the seasons are short but I think it make many of them better. That's how BBC does their shows and they are way superior. We'll see. I haven't seen the end of Jackie but for some reason I'm bored when they get all straight. I hate that almost every show has people going to rehab. No fun anymore.

Inspector Lewis is on again if you like that stuff. I taped most of them so I can watch over the summer. I loved Morse. He never gave in although he did drink himself into a grave in real life. Sundays at 9. I don't think they made too many episodes of them either.

I thought Jackie was pretty good this season. I was kind of tiring of her being despicable 24/7.

True Blood is definitely not as good this season.

I love the cop boyfriend. Does anyone remember him from Rescue Me? He was the head fire fighter. It was nice seeing him in a different role.

I like him, too, cc. He's perfect for her. Wonder if she'll screw it up.

Like the new head of ER, too. And the fact that he's dating the young nurse.
