TV Guide's list of the top 20 shows of 2013.

Surprise! Not a housewife show among them. ;)

Ok I'm pleasantly surprised with the new Bravo offering Blood Sweat and Heels.

The former model is by far my fav. Loving her and very surprised about her reveal about the boyfriend. No wonder she was treating him like crap and he was taking it.

I gave this show the side eye by the inclusion of the video hoochie who now fancy's herself a real estate mogul. But luckily she was not the main attraction. But for her all of the women are educated and the perfect mix of sassy/messy/real talk. All of these chics I'd actually hang out with. Reminded me of me and my girlfriends. We are messy as hell among each other ONLY. To hear our convo's you'd be surprised at shear number of advanced degrees among us. LOL.

I tried it but seemed too depressing. Nursing homes kind of close to home for us these days. Are you liking it?

Shopper, I FLOVE the Mindy Project so much. Mindy is right up there with Amy Pohler (Parks and Rec) as far as I'm concerned. Maybe even better.

Love the Mindy Project, too. I'm liking the Goldberg's, too.

I hear ya about Getting On, Cosmo. But I stuck with it and ended up really liking it.

Episodes, House of Lies and Girls are coming back on!

I haven't watched Shameless. Good? Can I pick it up now without seeing previous seasons?

Did you see the skit on SNL about Girls? So funny.

andme, I don't Shameless is half as good as it used to be but I'm already invested. I'm not sure you could just pick it up since their is a lot of backstory to each character. It's pretty dark too. I don't know if it's worth starting now but you could try it this season and if you like it - Showtime usually has all previous seasons up OnDemand.

I did see the SNL Girls skit. Hilarious. They nailed those characters. Loved seeing them through Blerta's Tina Fey (?) eyes. A woman with real problems, lol.

Oh, and if you watch Veep (I do) Julia Louis Dreyfus was nominated for a Golden Globe this year.

Well Shopper, I wasn't interested based upon the video model, but now that you have given it your seal of approval, I will give it a try. I like that women can be real with each other and then be totally normal and appropriate in public/business.

If I mosey on over to tW0p, and I going to get a shitload of pearl clutching about how craven and depraved these women are in private for joking around with each other?

lemme know what you think Fin. I don't think the show will be everyone's cup of tea, but for some reason I liked it. And a lot of other folks did, at least once. Highest rated premier in Bravo history.

Shopper I am going to have to watch a repeat. Our nights are getting crazy around here. If I can get my teenage daughter to DVR it, then there is a good chance it will be on in the afternoons as she unwinds after track.

We are 1/2 way through the 3rd season of Homeland and are looking for our next series. I am thinking Downton Abbey, but will it be too slow for Hubby? He might want Breaking Bad. Any other ideas?
