I even thought she fully insulted the temple she newly belonged to during Yom Kippur. She disgusted me. She takes a tiny child to sit in the front row --yeah right - and demeans the OC type of worship.

That's interesting to me ccc because I didn't see it that way - except of course the part about having cameras at the service but then I figured the temple would have had to agree so. Was it the baby attending wrong?

While I haven't been to Mass in decades, it was standard practice to drag all the kids, babies included, to church and if it was a big day (like Christmas or Easter) comparable to Yom Kippur people wore their best, often new, outfits.

I don't know why exactly but I don't mind Heather - maybe it's because alongside Vickster, Tamra, Gretchen and Dumb and Dumber she seems rather normal to me. Well, normal in ho-wife land. If Whori is indeed returning I'm hoping to see Heather take her down a few pegs. If she doesn't I reserve the right to change my opinion.
I think ccc meant that Heather maybe should have sat in the back if she knew her child was "that child" as she stated in the talking head. My daughter was "that child" and I always sat towards the back and many times didn't finish the service (luckily my parents lived down the block). I wondered if she sat upfront because it was easier for the cameras, but then they showed Terry in the back with the baby.

At this point, I am very ambivalent about Heather, but I will take any opportunity to snark on her.

The only people who have elevators have townhouses with 5/6 floors. Do they do this in houses often?

Sonya has a broken one in her townhouse but I don't remember how many floors she has/had. I think Heather's house has three floors. I've never been in a house with an elevator. But if you are building your own home where money doesn't matter I think it's a great idea with small children and strollers and grandmothers, etc.

My house is only two floors with a partially finished basement and I have wished for a dumbwaiter (ie, Elevator) on more than one occasion.

I know a woman who has an elevator in a smallish sized home. They redid the house and because of joint difficulty she put in an elevator. Now there are other homes around here that have elevators. They are generally huge homes with 2 stories and a dormered attic plus probably a finished basement. I guess they are planning for retirement not ostentation! ;)

My husbands uncle has a home with an elevator in Houston. The house is maybe 2000 to 2500 sf but it is 3 stories. It's one of those homes inside the loop where the original house was razed and 3 new homes were built on the lot. He's a prominent interior designer (think River Oaks if you know Houston) and is in his late 60's. The elevator was a smart idea on his part. It has added nothing but $$$ to the value of the house.

I think it's a great idea. If my parents don't get to live out their days in their own home it will most likely be because of the stairs. I wish they had downsized and moved to a ranch house (like almost all their friends did) ten years ago.

Yep. If my parents had an elevator in their home, they would have stayed there instead of having to sell and move into an apartment.

Of course Brooks is blaming Bravo for everyone's perception of him. It's all in the editing. I guess Bravo got his baby mommas pregnant and didn't pay child support, either.

I didn't know people had elevators in houses. I've been to so many of those McMansions and none had elevators. I totally understand it for the elderly.

So I'm watching this week's episode. How set up was that call from heather's agent about the part? Funnier still was that Terry would know all about the show Hot In Cleveland. I'm sure tvland is on his regularly scheduled programming since he had so much free time

Tamra must think that nobody in NY gets fake boobs. She such a moron. At least she knows we have good restaurants here. I'm thinking heather may get fake boobs. Two references already. One with tamra and the other in hubby's office

Ha! Not that I care but there is no way Slade suddenly became solvent enough to settle his child support issues AND buy that sparkler on a one hour a day radio show salary - a job that he held for less than a year.

Slade is Gretchen's payback for all the golddigging she did with her first husband and then of course Jeff - where she really cleaned up. I'd bet that ring is a rework of the ring Jeff gave her and Jo's old ring. And since she mentions the jeweler every chance she gets they probably didn't even pay for the re-design.

LOL..this brings back good times when Vicki renewed her vows and shouted out the name of the jeweler in the middle of the vow renewal.

Tamra had a wild bachelorette party with Eddie, Heather and her real friends. No other hos. I wonder what happened to good friend Gretchen. http://radaronline.com/exclusives/2013/05/tamra-barney-bachelorette-party-bikini-vegas/

Who has a bachelorette party with the groom to be? I wonder if Eddie fantasized about being the bride?
