What happened to my post? I read it and posted before yours Mariah and said the same thing! Why would he become a criminal at this point. It could be metaphorical. I have said many times he can go and change himself again. That was his MO but if he went the criminal route he would have had no growth in character. Of course that is possible and wiener is saying people, don't change but many did have growth. Peggy did. Joan did although somewhat tragic. Money can't buy you everything. Roger is the only stagnant character. He's like the the the mathematical constant on the show. He never changed and I loved that about him

Those are amazing.

Why? Just to get away … with money that can't be traced … to be someone else with no way "back" …

I don't believe he would abandon his kids, or, for that matter, Stephanie. He has Anna's ring.

Naaah, I don't buy that at all. Weiner would really disappoint me if he didn't come up with something better than that.

I think Don will end up somewhere else and a lot of his future might be left up to the viewer's imagination. He won't stay at McCann, he'll be starting again at something else. Don he has matured, and he isn't going to abandon his kids or marry Diana. We might not necessarily know what his future is at the end of the series, we'll only see the beginning of it, and be hopeful for him. There will be loads of speculation after the show is over. I think its a realistic ending. I want to be happy for Don at the end.

On The Road. Diana may be a character supposed to be parallel to his. Wild thing the husband says. Abandoned her family because she didn't fit in. Nobody can find her. Ovpbviously weiner out her there for a reason

Don did many bad things but in the end he had a good heart and helped many. Helped Peggy and Joan he was their confidant in his own way.

Henry seems irritated with Betty in those previews. I just read an interesting theory on PTV, and I think it may be right!

What if Betty finds out she's pregnant? She finally happy, getting along with her kids, and about to go back to school. If she wants an abortion, obviously that would piss off Henry, and it's just kind of fits that this could happen, and Betty might not want another "FOG" again, she's just about to finally find herself, in more than the way she was raised to do that, but being a mom and wife.

Interesting. I just don't care about her. They could have left her out this season and I would not have missed her. I'm bad

That would fit he theme of having people never change and right back where they started if she got pregnant and had he baby. Morose

Maybe Peggy will be the only ending up truly happy. She accepted her fate at McCann and started to think of it as a new adventure and another step

Anyway, let’s consider Peggy and Joan in this episode, and the very different ways in which they approach McCann and in which McCann approaches them. Women copywriters are sniffing around Joan’s desk, trying to get the crumbs that Peggy will leave behind, making it clear that Peggy has quite a reputation and standing among this crowd. Peggy’s spent ten years honing her skills, working late hours and weekends, and putting up with a ton of crap along the way. Joan, unfortunately, has virtually no reputation and no standing whatsoever. She has very limited account experience and a former partnership stake so small and insignificant that it buys her no protection or offers her any sort of leverage in any of her dealings. You’ll note that no women account executives appeared at Joan’s door. She may be a rarer creature at McCann than Peggy is. Peggy has the benefit of working in a creative position, which tends to attract more open-minded people. Joan’s working alongside men who have whorehouses and escort service numbers in their business rolodexes because that’s a standard way of wooing clients.

This isn't the fashion blog, and I think it's the best at talking about Peggy and Joan at McCann.

I love Betty. She's probably brought me more enjoyment on this show than anyone except Pete and Roger. She's so flawed, but I just adore her.

I like Betty, too. People say January Jones is a terrible actress, but I believe her as the blonde ex-model wife of a handsome man. I had a hard time believing she would divorce Don and marry Henry, but I'm shallow.

I guess it's not like I didn't enjoy Betty the character and I don't think January is a bad actress. I know why she went with Henry though. She needed someone to BE THERE to helps
And stabile love the kids. Not surprising. Don was always searching for something better and never found himself so to speak. He left her alone where as Henry wanted to be a family unit. I do think they showed enough of her future though so now they are going to add more! Should have ended it there since the show is ending. Guess they are adding another conflict to see if she learned anything through the years and can stand up
For hersel which she only did once when she left Don. Guess we'll see.

Can't believe it's over in 3 hours

So do
We
ThinkDon really left or she invited him back in? If she did she could be pregnant by him. The massage was tellinG. How Much she can't resist him sexually in addition to
Familiarity. She never lost that as exhibited when they met at summer camp

Hey have they had a homicide yet? Lots
Of suicides and natural
Deaths but I don't think murder

Over in three hours? Tonight is not the last episode. There's a special hour and a half finale next week.
