In addition, as it did with the lead-up to the “Breaking Bad” finale, AMC is giving viewers one last chance to become “Mad Men” fans by broadcasting a marathon of all seven seasons in consecutive order beginning tonight at 6 p.m., concluding with Sunday’s final episode. And in honor of AMC’s “Mad Men” farewell, the network also announced that its sister channels, BBC America, IFC, SundanceTV and WE tv, will air a special message commemorating the series timed to the finale in lieu of their regularly scheduled programming. http://blogs.wsj.com/speakeasy/2015/05/13/amc-releases-final-mad-men-promo-announces-full-series-marathon/ Mad Style: http://tomandlorenzo.com/2015/05/mad-style-the-milk-and-honey-route/ Edited by Mariah, May 13 2015, 02:23 PM.

The finale of Sopranos got a lot of attention. But it was before the days social media was so pervasive. That's how Sepinwall got famous, commenting on Sopranos. Mo Ryan too. I was on a great forum and Sopranos was all we talked about. But Sopranos was more "did he die or didn't he die" in the last scene. I always thought he didn't and I THINK that Chase confirmed that later. Last episode of Sopranos was June 2007, hard to believe it is eight years ago. Allergies are terrible this year; maybe that has not helped your baromic pressure, Ran. |

Yes- my allergies ARE terrible! Worth it to have the windows open- but VERY bad, the worst ever. I had two days of bad ick-you know the kind of days when you keep dropping things? |

Yes, it affects my vertigo badly and this year has been the WORST I remember in ages. I'm spritizing my saline all day long. Love the gorgeous clear air of yesterday and today though. |

I remember waiting for the West Coast feed of the finale of Sopranos, thinking "people are watching it on the East Coast …" … then I went into the living room of my brother's home, where I was living at the time, and they were watching it. He had HBO - East Coast and I didn't know it. I was so frustrated, because it was nearly over and they all knew the ending and I had to wait anyway. Same way with HW shows and MAD MEN. We don't have East Coast feeds here, so I have to wait three hours after NY has seen it. :( |

I'm coming around to "teach your children well" as the final song after the news that Betty is dying. Someone thought of it on PTV and I think they are correct. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ztVaqZajq-I "Teach Your Children" You, who are on the road must have a code that you can live by. And so become yourself because the past is just a good bye. Teach your children well, their father's hell did slowly go by, And feed them on your dreams, the one they fix, the one you'll know by. Don't you ever ask them why, if they told you, you would cry, So just look at them and sigh and know they love you. And you, of the tender years can't know the fears that your elders grew by, And so please help them with your youth, they seek the truth before they can die. Teach your parents well, their children's hell will slowly go by, And feed them on your dreams, the one they fix,the one you'll know by. Don't you ever ask them why, if they told you, you would cry, So just look at them and sigh and know they love you. |

It is a 1.5 hour finale or a 2 hour finale? Does it start at the normal time? I have to be out that night and must make sure the DVR records! |
