Yeah, that seems more realistic, Mariah.

Such a fantastic episode!

"Stan" directed it too, and last week's.

Pressure is inherently dramatic. The trouble is, it’s inherently difficult to dramatize. “Clark’s Place” navigates this challenge with slow-burn-Americans panache, particularly in the sequence where Philip slips out of Clark’s apartment without being detected by Martha or Aderholt. But it seems at times that the episode is winding up a punch that’s never thrown. Maybe that’s just the aftershocks of “Chloramphenicol” talking, my expectations for eventfulness startlingly raised in the final moments of last week’s episode.

Yay! By far my favorite show on TV now. Her name was Nina. I thought she would be dead last season, but this was perfect.
Haven't watched last nights episode yet but ninjas death knocked the wind out of me. My dd walked in the room right when it happened and I was mortified. Mind you she has seen many ID shows but this was so graphic. I'll raise a serial killer or a pacifist.

Be back to read the comments after I watch last night's episode this evening

ccc, read that link about Nina's execution when you come back. It was taken from a book, and accurate down to the guy at the desk stepping aside at the last moment, and the two guards to catch her when her knees buckled, one on each side, and the bucket and mop in the back of the scene. They felt it was more compassionate to do it immediately than make them suffer waiting for it to happen.

Cool article about every step of making an episode.

Even if you don't watch this particular show, you may enjoy reading it. It's LONG.

Mariah my dh said he knew it was real. I'm still sad. Watched last night. Do you get the feeling this is the final season? Did they do enough seasons for syndication?

Off topic I find what CBS has done to Person of Interest vile. They are burning off one of their best shows because of internal fights with time warner. They needed it off the air apparently they are wrapping it up showing it twice a week. So sad. Haven't even seen an add yet

I used to love watching Person of Interest, but haven't watched in a while.

I HOPE they aren't wrapping The Americans up. I think it may have only 2 seasons left at best. I wish it would just keep going and going and going...

That may have been the best episode of anything I've ever seen on TV.

Philip has crossed the KGB, lied to them, gone behind their back with the Germany thing, he's really pushing things too. Philip's valuable, but he could be in danger himself pretty soon.

I just loved it all, too many favorite moments to catch them all.

Gaad catching on immediately, just loved it!

Philip and William's talk!

Elizabeth and Gabe when they see Philip's shown himself to Martha and not bothered to tell them!

Stan and Aderholt whipping into action.

Every single thing Martha did and said.

Just wow, they aren't kidding around this season. Best show on TV hands down.

Extended preview.

That talk with William (I think) may mean Elizabeth may have to "lose" her partner too. Hey! William's available!

The KGB are going to be even more pissed at Philip than Gabe and Elizabeth are for blowing his/their cover AND flat out telling her they were KGB! Couldn't he have said French Intelligence or ANY other country's?
