is anyone going to watch this anymore?

I still like NY just because you see NYC, I wish I lived there with Jill and Bawby's millions.

I liked Jill, I like the haughty Luann, in fact she was probably my fav housewife. I disliked crazy Ramona and truly was afraid of crazy crazy Kelly. I think the new dynamic is just going to be a east coast version of what happened to OC, which used to be my favorite. I just could care less about those orange hags out in OC and I don't care about what happens to the NY crew as it stands, Ramona and Luann the dynamic is going to be so different. Say what you will about the three who got fired, the whole of the group is what made that show, not any individual.

Oh dang Alex, yea they were ok.

I am going to watch, for sentimental reasons. It was always one of my favorites. I think Luann can really cut loose this year without Jill harping about team Jill.

I want to see the new ones. Hopefully they can class up the joint. It got pretty seedy last year. Pubes. Yuck.

I'm not sure how I feel. It was so fake last season. Sonja was a total poseur and the cracks in her facade had become chasms. It was clear everyone was humoring Kelly to keep her from decompensating again, Alex was ramping up the feuds to get more air time (which made me sad because she was my fav and I liked her before she fell victim to that), Ramona was Ramona so...yeah, and Jill was playing the "I've changed!" card whilst demonstrating that she was exactly the same. Oh and Luann! Haughty, haughty, haughty but god forbid you call her on her behavior.

It was tiresome. I'm not sure the cast shake up will change that.

And you're right about OC. That was my first love of the Housewives and I watched it from day one. I was sorry to see Jeana go and I hate Tamra more than I can express.

Yeah, I'm worried about more phoniness from Ramona. At least get Sonja liquored up and flush her Blackberry down the toilet.

ETA - saw that one of the new ho's husband has been sued a few times. Possibly just par for the course for a doctor....or maybe another douche with a rap sheet a mile long.

I will always love Lulu. I know... hate on me now! She had these moments in season 1 where she really didn't take herself too seriously, and I do believe that you had the producers egging her on with the whole countess thing. (For that matter, I think they do that with all the wives).
Sonja is always good for a laugh.
Ramona... wishing she would get a comeuppance. However, I tried Ramona Pinot Grigio on Christmas Eve, and I don't even like Pinot Grigio, but it wasn't bad. However, I was also getting sick, so I'll have to force myself to try another bottle to make sure my impression was correct. ;)
Silex was also good for a laugh, and while Alex is clueless, I do also feel she was probably the most "decent" of the lot. Simon on the other hand....

Yep, I'll be watching for old times sake, hoping it improves.

I miss the old days of Seasons 1 and 2 of RHoOC. Good times, good times.

I completely agree with you about Alex, discomom. She's the only decent human being on the show. I'm on the fence about Simon because he's so damned entertaining.

I fucking hate Lulu but I won't hate on your love if you won't hate on my hate. :)

ETA - I had some Ramona Pinot Grigio right before I went and got myself knocked up in June (although it's not responsible for my condition, can you imagine?). They had ONE bottle left in the store because they'd just sold their entire stock and the woman who sold it to me was wearing, I shit you not, a Team Jill shirt. Good times. It was alright. Nothing special but nothing awful. I liked it more than I like Santa Margherita and it's cheaper than Santa Margherita. I miss wine.

Bravo's running last season right now. I wanted to see which one they were playing. The program description said, "Tension flows after the women fight."

That could be any episode from the past two seasons.

I tried Ramona's wine as well, and thought it was quite good. Then again, I am not that big on white wines, other than champagne, so my opinion isn't worth much.

I'm thrilled that Jill, and nutso Kelly, and the vagazzler are all gone. Not so thrilled about no more Silex, they really both grew on me after a while, and I loved both of their blogs. I read someplace that they were asked if they wanted to be guest stars occasionally, but they turned that down.

On to a fresh show! Perhaps Lulu will remove that stick from her ass now that Jill and Kelly are gone. I'd love to see the "real" Lulu for a change, pinching guys' asses when drunk, living the gay divorcee life. Maybe without the who Jill-generated "team" crap Lulu can show a bit more of the wild child hiding behind her so-called "manners."

Glad Ramona is staying too, she just makes me laugh, and her lack of a filter, but eventual ability to listen and even admit when she's wrong makes her a good fit for this kind of show.

Sonja always redeems herself somehow, little sincere moments of kindness after being an ass, something. She seems like she would be a lot of fun, and last season the off camera stuff must have been extremely hard for her. Hopefully most of that is over and she can just chill out and get loose.

One of the new ones was already dumped, right? Anyone remember who or why?

I caught part of the marathon today, and Luann was a total interfering bitch at Jills fundraiser for her *deformed* step daughter. She was a dog with a bone after Ramona, ...you dont share your designer, you didnt call Jill (but I texted her and we talked here)...thats not what Jill told me, why didnt you call her? I was JUST AWAY WITH THE GIRLS AT A SPA and they all told me they dont want you being a pain in the ass (paraphrase there)...

It was a great scene. I have to say, Luann has a lot of nerve telling Alex that she sticks her nose into others business just to stir up drama. Pot meet kettle.

It was also the scene where they were all clutching their pearls at Ramona drinking her pinot despite the fact that Jill was serving Cosmos.

Someone dubbed KKB "Jill's Trained Sasquatch" and I think that I will refer to her thusly from here on out.

A new one was dumped? Already? Was that because of her husband's lawsuits? I think I vaguely remember someone mentioning that in the comment section over at The Vulture.

I'm not sure that Lulu knows who the real Lulu is anymore but she strikes me as someone who'd act the same no matter how much or how little money she had. If she were a middle-class SAHM still living in a podunk town, she'd make everyone she saw as "beneath her" kowtow to her and give those she sees as her "betters" rim jobs so thorough you could apply make up in the shiny reflection of their puckered anus afterward. She'd terrorize the other parents of the PTA and bang all of the married husbands behind her "friends'" backs.

I didn't re-watch a single episode from last season. It was all so ridiculous, mostly because of Jill and the stupid "team" shit. I am SO glad she's gone.

I honestly think that Lulu was on "team Jill" because the last thing she wanted to deal with was having Jill on her ass, or exposing her secrets. Keep thy possible enemies closer?

(Lulu's drunken crotch grabbing of strangers, the Count and Lulu's "open" marriage for years, and both were sleeping around, the recreational drugs, and who knows what else Jill was holding over her head. The others know as well, but Jill would be the one who, if pissed, will set out on a complete search and destroy mission, ala Silex and Bethenny, and Ramona.)

I couldn't find anything to watch so I flipped on the NY marathon on Bravo. Just watched several scenes having to do with wives not wanting to be in LuAnn's video, including the LuAnn/Ramona confrontation.

LuAnn is such a sanctimonious prig.
