I think Luann was cheating too, and pretty openly. Luann and the Count had come to an open relationship apparently which Ramona was trying to out on tv I think. Now I guess Ramona can see why it is important to keep others private matters private on TV.

Lulu and the count had an open marriage for years. I think Ramona outed her when Lulu basically called her a tramp during the Bethenny dating advice thing, and Ramona got fed up with Lulu's pretenses and pretending. That was also about the time reports of Lulu's grabbing strange mens balls at parties, and being falling down drunk showed up.

I always thought the secret Lulu was fascinating, but the sham "manners" ;) Lulu drove me nuts. I think she's better this season, but I still feel like the "real" Lulu finally came out with the Johnny Depp pirate.

I agree Mariah. And I don't think Ramona cared if Lulu and the Count had separate sex lives as much as she hated Lulu posing and looking down her nose at Turtle Time etc.

I felt bad for Ramona. Like ccc noted, she was looking uber stressed at her party and I can't imagine dealing with that dick LoveRat while trying to hold it together for her daughter (and this show.) I think that's what made her offend Sonja, although I did agree with Ramona's advice. Sonja needed to focus on her finances and leave the "caberlesque" world tour for a while.

Speaking of Sonja, I thought she looked amazing at Ramona's party. That dress was WOW. Actually they all looked pretty good except Ramona, but even she looked good all in white at the clambake.

I never thought I'd see The Countess cruising around in a VW bug and a hat she borrowed from her daughter.

Avivnuts (love that ccc) talking head interviews make me all stabby. I can't find one likeable thing about her. I mean I enjoy crazy (as in Ramona and Sonja) but Aviva is a whole new category.

Do you want to know what I don't like about Aviva Cosmo?, Do you? Do you really want to know? You really want to know? Because I will tell you if you really want to know! You called me annoying for repeatedly asking you if you really want to know? I'm annoying? Really? That's hurtful. That's a hateful thing to say to me. You're yelling. You're yelling. You're yelling. I'm not going to sit here and have you yell hateful things at me. Frankly that is hurtful and hateful. I have two degrees and am fluent in French. What are you? Lesbian lovers with Disco and Mariah? You are just not a well wisher. You attack me and call me hateful things when all I am trying to do is resolve our issues.

That is why I don't like Aviva. Icy is right. She listens only to use words to attack the other person. She never answers the original question (why am I mad at you) and just waits it out until the other person finally says "you're a drama queen" and then she goes off the deep end and makes it melodramatic and acts like she was attacked so she can play victim again. The whole time she clenches her bottom jaw so she can imitate an elitist New England wasp.

I didn't know that about galleys. Because of my three experiences I believed they are everywhere and not hard to get.

1) a friend worked for a very small local publisher. She brought me boxes and boxes of galleys no one ever read.

2) my elderly catholic grand mother shared the same name (a unique one) with a writer from a prominent magazine and publishers mistakenly had Grandmas address for galleys. She repeatedly would call me and announce that a other "dirty book" had arrived and they would become mine.

3) they're all on eBay.

I agree. During that part I was thinking about the white dress I have that would be perfect to wear to a clambake on the beach. I want to go to a clambake really bad now. I've never been to one, nor to I know any one that has, that I'm aware of. Looked like the perfect party to me. (Except for the guests.) Seafood, booze, sand, fireworks and a summer night. Love.

LOL. This made me miss my feisty grandma who would have read the dirty books first and then passed them on.

You guys are all cracking me up this morning.
They had the wrong bunch of women enjoying that clambake on the beach. It shoulda been us. True, we wouldn't have brought much drama, but a heckofallota fun (and snark).

Hahah it was Chris Bohjalian's Tran Sister Radio ( transgender theme too much for my devout catholic grandma with rhe portrait of JFK front and center next to the crucifix) that tarnished the future galleys that were mine all mine,

To quote Velvet at moments like this, would you marry me?

This is brilliant. (And not just because of those three lovely words 'Icy is right.' LOL)

I wish we had a thread where we posted posts that should live for all time!

I've always wanted to do that too. I even looked up the whole "how to do it" thing long ago. I think it was Bing Crosby who used to do one every year.
