Apparently Jill recommended Heather for the show, and Bethenny recommended Aviva. |

Ok so last week I think I said that Yummy Tummy was oddly attractive - in some lights she looks very pretty and in some lights she looks like a man baby. Well Ditto for peg leg. She was very attractive last episode, but this episode - particularly in the vintage clothing store, she just looked terrible. I forget what poster said she looked like her mouth was in a perpetual snear from too much filler. Sonja is just tragic - I do like her though. Last season she flirted with plumber (granted he was the owner) and now she's flirting w/ builder. You know she would never end up with such a common man - even if he has bucks. It's just pathetic. I actually didn't mind Jill. It was her interaction with LuLu that made 'meh feelings turn into hate feelings. I found LuLu to be loving the whole Jill/ Beth thing and she fueled the fire and I don't think a good friend should have done that. I never liked LuLu's airs but she usually didn't bother me - now I just can't stand her. I think the time where she pulled Jill out of Ramona's was the kicker. For all of Ramoner's faults I think she really did want B and Jill to make up. |

I think if Lulu spends some time away from Jill, we MIGHT see a better Lulu, but for now, she's just using Jill's tired old "team bully" tricks. YAWN. She is such a trainwreck and could be amusing for that, or even get a redemption arc going. She's funny in her obtuse clueless social climbing way, and it's nice to see her boink her boy toy instead of searching for another rich dude to rescue her. Heather is the biggest WTF so far of the new cast. She reminds me of Pam/Dana without the promo shit. Maybe she'll calm down eventually. I can't wait to see Lulu try to pull the countess shit with Carole. The show is so much less cringeworthy now. Edited by Mariah, Jun 12 2012, 06:57 PM.

I think Jill found an in with the owners of the Chandler Hotel and put a little poison in their ears about Simon. If he was squeaky clean, it might not have been as effective, but given that he's out there enjoying his wife's gig on a reality show, and inserted himself into the show, it probably tipped the balance. BUT would the hotel care about that ... if Jill hadn't pointed it out to them? No one can convince me Jill didn't do that -- it's so her style, using the phone and her "power" as a wealthy woman ... but I don't expect to convince anyone. |

I thought Alex said that to Jill on one reunion show, that she called Simon's hotel owner? |

I'm not a New Yorker and honestly have never heard of the Chandler, but my guess is that it's an establishment that prides itself on charm, elegance, class and DISCRETION. Simon was wrong for taking the pictures at his place of employment period - who does that? I can't blame Jill for exposing it. |

Honestly it's a little 3 star hotel in a moderate part of town. I used to live near there. It is no big deal. Perhaps it is low key because I don't think we would have heard of it if not for Rhony. They probably got more bookings from their exposure on the show. |

only he said he quit... lots of times. When Jill said they needed the $$$, he lost his job- he went on ad nauseum about how it was his choice to go back to consulting , as he had previously done- in the UK- he said it again yesterday... |

I thought it was an upscale boutique hotel. Guess not. Still, it's not on Jill for getting him fired. It's just not a good idea to take nude pictures of one's spouse at your place of employment period. |

ita with you. I think it was some stupid rumor. They were probably happy with the name in the press until there was some bad press. It's a little cute place. Not too expensive in Murray Hill. It's near Koreatown. He shouldn't have taken identifiable pictures but I still don't think that got him fired nor did Jill. He put his life into that show and I wouldn't be surprised if he resigned or he just didn't do his job full time anymore. |

Anyone remember the point of the pictures? Was that to jump-start Alex's modeling career? Frankly, they would have been better suited to the bordello living room in their home. |

I floved Carole. Carole is who I want to be in my next life. She's smart, has a cool job, cool clothes, uber cool age appropriate boyfriend, etc. etc. Ramona did not disapoint me last night. I cracked up when she said "What singing career" about the Countless because well, yeah. I'm sure there was some phone conversation where Ramona mentioned Lulu's offspring's antics as [more] evidence of her poor parenting and Lulu turned that into "Blackmail!!!" Lulu was aghast that Ramona might mention that Noel's 15th birthday part was a drunken bash or that Victoria broke both wrists sneaking out of the house when her uncle was there [I'm guessing she doesn't need to sneak when Mom is there] and yet she just told us both stories on camera trying to get a "gang up on Ramona" thing going with the new girls. Luanne does all the damage to her parenting "image" herself. That scene with poor Noel and Le Ross was lame. First of all she clearly had no idea that Noel was currently staying 45 minutes after school everyday to work on his grades. Then in her TH Luanne says she wishes Noel would "just take care of it and get it off her plate." Attachment parenting in reverse. Le Ross gets points from me though for pointing out that French is useless. I have three years of unused French in my schooling where I could use Spanish everyday if only I knew any. Heather is a weirdo. She might be good TV though. I haven't decided about Aviva or whatever her name is. Thanking your children for using their napkins is weird to me, but then so is asking a five year old if he might please consider using a fork "just a little". :ermm: |

lol- they are both opposite ends of the parenting universe on the show. Both nuts. I also love Carole. She's it for me. My husband said he knows her boyfriend or did from a while ago. I'll try to find out more info. |

Okay I'm trying to picture a show where Carole and the Vickster are in the same scene. Yikes! THAT might blow Carole's cool. :o |

I think she tries a little too hard to be all hippy like and cool and I'm irrationally annoyed by her weird overbite but otherwise like her okay.
Lulu may have had him take French thinking she'd be able to help him with homework since she speaks it, but then again, she'd actually have to be home to do that.
I'm pretty convinced that these women have way too much money to be decent parents. They remind me of celebrity parents like Angelina Jolie who can't even take their one kid to the park without bringing a nanny along. They just have no idea how to handle the nitty gritty of parenting because there is always a nanny around who has to deal with the fall out of their non-parenting. I've said for years I would pay good money to see Angelina Jolie take all 6 of her kids with her to do the family grocery shopping, just her and the kids at the Walmart Supercenter on a Saturday afternoon. THAT is a reality show I'd watch!! |
