I thought she was 100% wrong with what she said to Cody, but 100% right with what she said to George. I seriously loved her for that.

Nothing Ramona did was racist, nothing she said was racist. That was George showing how Aviva is really his daughter: they both look for the drama and aren't afraid to destroy anyone before them.

I have to wonder why Andy allowed George back on the show after last year and all I can think is that he agreed to be better, to be nice to Ramona or something … and so I tweeted Andy just a bit ago and said "George really screwed up the apology tour, right? I hate him, hate that I spent electricity having him on my TV" … I see this pattern where if someone had a major event, like Aviva's meltdown in St. Bart's or wherever that was, Bravo keeps them for the next season. Maybe it's to cover their asses legally. I don't know, but I noticed it with Taylor. And with Jill. They really fuck up and fans (most of them) hate them passionately, but they come back anyway … then the next year they go away. I pray that this is the plan with Aviva.

As for Sonja in Saratoga -- I think she had a lot of her ego on the line and walked away to rebuild that. Bravo filmed her, she knew the cameras were with her and so didn't expect the other cameras to take the girls away. There's where that line shows itself, between real people and reality people.

BTW: they said Cody "runs" a chain of salons in Miami, not that she owns them … not sure if they just were being casual. Don't think they would be. Is there a way to look up her net worth? She's a private individual, so probably not.

Did I watch by myself tonight? I never would have guessed Sonja would be a mean drunk. It looks like after she staggered off with her suitcase, they others must have just tossed her into the car because she's with them at the bar falling down drunk in the preview.

As disgusting as George is, I was bummed when he went off track with the racist stuff. He was doing a decent job ripping into Ramona until then.

Ramona is even more insane than I thought. Bitch needs intensive, inpatient psychiatric care.
I watched. I thought Ramona was insensitive, but yeah- him claiming racist is pretty wonky. I just don't want to see George in any capacity. Cody is pretty. Sonja continues to be a disappointment to me this year, but I still love this franchise the most, I'm sad the ratings are tanking.

I missed Ramona with Cody. But I love that she told George and Aviva that an 80? y.o. man and a 25 year old woman is wrong. That her parents probably would object to her throwing her life away on an old man. Unless they were gold diggers too.

Aviva is just too gross. For her to be unfazed by her dad's sex talk in front of Ramona (I am going to lick my hand and stick it on your dead body vagina) is disgusting. He's not a pedophile; he's a pervert. Whatever he is, it's socially unacceptable. It's not cute, it's not funny, and he is definitely down there. For awhile, I thought that the three of them scripted that scene bc I thought Ramona was playing along. Then George went too far for her puritanical nature.

Do you think Sonja was drunk or high? She seemed manic to me. Not sloppy slurry drunk, which she seems to be in the preview.

George was just plain disgusting. It wasn't funny, clever or cute. To me, it was harassment. And to talk like that in front of your daughter.... no wonder her mom was an alcoholic.

I HATE when people pull out the racist card. I got accused of it because I asked a fellow coworker how to handle cashing a 100 dollar bill. The customer claimed I yelled it across the room. It was my first weekend working, and the coworker was at the next register, not across the room. Bitch walked in with a chip on her shoulder. George and Cody don't get one bit of sympathy from me on the racist charge.

I loved the scene where they were trying on hats. Loved the hats! I loved the brown one that Sonja was wearing that was reminiscent of Audrey Hepburn's in Breakfast at Tiffany's. IMO she chose the wrong hat. However, I'm sure that she pulled one she already owned out of her closet and didn't spend money on a new one. But this! is the reason I watch these shows, not to waste my time watching Chair-gate on OC.

I thought the show was pretty good, except for the George scenes. Well we know Andy hates women, so I guess that is why George is included. I'm sure the whole George fiancée thing is a script plot to add some interest.

I like the friendship Carol, Lu, Heather and Kristen are forming. It seems real and their behavior seems natural, not studied. Ramona is off the charts as usual, although I love the close ups of her eye and shoulder tics. Aviva, meh, recast her.

It was funny that Heather was the one who knew how to bet after all of Sonja's Saratoga experience with the upper crust. I think she takes a few pills along with her alcohol. She is pretty pathetic.

If it's true that when many men reach their 70's, the part of the brain that controls sexual filter starts deteriorating, George might have an excuse for his behavior. But he still seems to have his facilities about him. If he gets any worse, he belongs in an institution.

I loved the hat shopping. Sonja did look lovely in the brown one.

I think George is a disgusting pig and hope he slithers back to Florida never to be seen again. Preferably sitting in a jail cell somewhere after being charged with sexual assault.

Ramona was so far out of line with Cody, even for her. She tried to backtrack in her TH claiming she tunes Sonja out. Sorry, Ramona, don't believe it. I'd love to see a complete stranger tell her that Mario is a cheating dog, has always been a cheating dog and has never been faithful to her. Her eyes would pop clean out of her botoxed skull.

I still believe Sonja takes Adderall or some other stimulant. She started drinking straight whiskey in the form of mint juleps in the morning and continued drinking all day long. From the previews, it looks like the alcohol finally overrides the stimulants later that night at the bar. Did anyone else notice the back of her hair when she got back to the house? It looked like she had a roll in the hay before she wandered home. Or, maybe passed out behind the barn for a while?

You're right Lovesnark. The back of Sonja's hair was a rat's nest.

I liked Luann and Kristen Hula hooping. You can tell Luann is competitive. But Kristen has no pooch. She is so narrow.

Yes! When she wandered away from the others and sauntered up to the guy on the sidelines, I felt like she was looking for someone to have a good time with. Either to spend their money on bets and cocktails or for a roll in the hay or both.

I think both. Then, she got unceremoniously dumped at Lulu's curb by him and that's why she was so antagonistic. Her ego was bruised when she lost her bet and went looking for something/someone to make her feel better. That's what I think happened.

She makes me sad.

I think you hit the nail on the head, Rye. She used to make me sad but not any more. After reading about what she did to the production company that sued her, I lost all sympathy for her. She's squandered more than most of the world could ever hope for and she needs to grow the fuck up. I feel sorry for her daughter.

I forgot because I barely watched the beginning of the show since I'd already seen it via previews, but that moment in Sonja's garden when Cody pulled out the crystals and Sonja said her neighbors were going to think her dealer was there … that was as racist as anything during the show.

I started to read the blogs and was too tired -- but they all have them this week.

It's possible, because of how she is (and admitted being controlling in her convo with George), that Ramona was starting something with Cody and the first thing out of her mouth derailed it -- like she was all ready to say "you have no one to stand guard over you, prevent you from making this terrible mistake" -- I think she already had that idea in her head the instant she heard Cody was only 25. With Avery leaving for college, and Mario abandoning her, plus menopause being clearly the answer to why she stopped getting her flow (and yes, a BIG pooch during filming), I think Ramona's mothering instincts are at maximum speed. Mind you, she's not a mother for all, but I think she was coming from a good place. I probably give her more credit than I should, but I really think the whole Mario thing is fucking with her processes, which were already flawed. Did we ever get a name or idea about the guy who came with her and Mario? Is that the gay BFF/hairdresser?

I think Luann was right when she said Sonja was off looking for her new husband. But you are probably right that she was probably just someone's quicky and was left at the curb.

Clearly the other ladies knew that production had a car for her at Saratoga because they were very unconcerned about leaving her. Maybe some camera guy told them that she was already hooked up with someone else/otherwise occupied.

Yeah black woman=drug dealer. That's what neighbors think all the time Sonja. Sheesh. We all know you get your drugs from your interns.

I had to give up after about halfway through. It's no wonder the ratings are tanking. Ramona is insufferable and Aviva is worse.

I liked the hat store. That was a good scene.

Icy, I'm glad you tweeted Andy. Nothing about George is cute or funny.

I thought everyone's makeup looked well done. They all looked their best. (I mean the women of the show. Not George.) I didn't notice Sonja's hair but her face looked really good.

Ramona had good hair, as opposed to previous episodes.

I wondered about Ramona's extra escort. That's twice now that he's been at an event. I'm wondering if this is when Mario was a no show at some functions because of his philandering and Ramona used this guy as her escort. Of course when it was a Housewives function Mario always made sure to show up? Just conjecture on my part.

No kidding. I bet 'Do you have a prescription for Adderall or Ritalin?" is one of the questions on her intern application. Along with 'Are you strong enough to carry me upstairs to my bed when I'm too drunk to walk?"
