Sonja was totally on something. I thought Coke. I think she pops pills all the time, so whatever else she was on was a recreational drug IMO b/c she was so out of character.

I wonder if the girls were too naive to see it or just polite enough not to say it by just saying she was 'drunk.' Whatever it was it was sad, but i'm done feeling sorry for her.

Her cooch was out in the previews. Somehow I think Sonja is also the subject of whatever fucking funny text Aviva and Heather were passing around.

The nail salon is called tippie toes and she's the tippie toe diva or some such crap. Hope I've given you all enough to search by. It was listed on fb by the watch what crappens podcast I listen to occasionally.

I knew it Shopper!! And I am not even a little surprised. I'd bet this 'engagement' mysteriously dissolves by the end of the season. They will never marry.

Ramona had good hair, as opposed to previous episodes.

Ha! I noticed that too Freely. I guess the absence of Kirsten and water helped.

I think you guys are on the money with what happened to Sonja at the race track. That was some big ego bruise. I did notice her hair though. At first I thought it was hat hair but it really looked alot more like bed head. I wish Sonja would just keep her casual sex to friend with benefit Harry. He seems good for her, it's like he gets her and loves her anyway.

I am cutting Ramona alot of slack this season because of the LoveRat, although she isn't really being any different than she usually is; her apologies always backfire. George is disgusting and gross. I can't think of a single reason Aviva would have him on this show except she thinks it's charming or funny. She's gross by association. Blech.

I wonder if Aviva suffered some sort of molestation as a child. She is way too on board with the sex talk of her dad. And her use of the word rape is so out of character for a woman like her.

I've been thinking about how Aviva becomes so docile around her father, almost a shadow of her crazy self -- yeah, there's something sick there. IMO. ;)

She did! I don't get why she wears such unflattering clothes because she has a pretty nice bod. I'm the same age as her and wish I was as fit as she is. She would look so much better if she dressed for her body type. When I see clothes that are tight around my belly or are designed to enhance that part of my body, I run away screaming.

Do you think Sonja didn't have $30 to bet with the other women?

I think her meltdown was because she was pissed they won the bet.

According to Carole's blog, they would have each bet twice as much and won a lot more, but they didn't out of deference to Sonja.

I think Sonja is bummed that her abundance exercises didn't pay off, but they, with no new age mantras and not needing the money as much...did.

Crazy thing is, I am sure one of them would have fronted her the money. As in, "Hey I am short in cash, and I will pay you back." It was only like $40 each?

I keep thinking Ramona had a cyst or something going on in her stomach. It was huge during filming. Way more than pinot bloat because the rest of her face looked okay. And after the season she posted that photo from Miami in a bikini and it was gone. It is huge during filming and way out of character for her.

See that's low down dirty to say that. I'm going to go read her blog to see the context, but I think that's a shitty thing to do to a friend. I mean we know Sonja's having money problems, but to say she didn't have more than $30 bucks is lowering herself to Sonja's trashy level. Kinda like when she got into it with Aviva. Just keep it moving, why say anything?

I usually am with Carole but I'm with you on this one Shopper.

Besides, I'm sure Sonja had more than $30 on her. She may be "broke" in HW terms but the woman isn't destitute. Cheap maybe. I think her ego was bruised, not so much over the money but over her loss and their win when she was bragging about what a horse track veteran she was so that when she lost and the "know nothings" won she didn't see it as random chance but a blow to her 'expertise'.

Damn, I hope it was Carole that said that now. Let me know. I'm suddenly thinking it might have been in Heather or Kristen's blog.

Oh hell. Just checked. It was in HEATHER's blog, not Carole's. :$ :$

Radz and I came preplanned with 200 bucks to blow off for a few fun bets at the track, but Sonja was tallying her dollar bets and made us feel guilty for wanting to spend it! At first, we were going to put $100 down on the first bet just to get out of the gate and go for it! Lu and Kristen were game too, but after Sonja's $1 betting advice and pure confidence, we felt like we were being silly and took our first bet down to $50 each. Damn you Miss Morgan! That win could-a-been over $6,000 bones! But, we were still thrilled baby! It was just so fun to win! Forget about the fives and tens or even the twenties! Counting your winnings out in hundreds is just so good!
